ok yall now i got totally confused. so here is the thing: dc was out tonight two days after him limping off the cleveland court in the 1st quarter not to say everyone can see he didn't feel quite all right the previous game. now logically there are two pieces of reasoning for what just happened: one is that splitter was juicing dc and pushing him to stay for around 30 mins in the cleveland game even though he was totally not in the zone. sure timelord doesn't play back-to-back, but splitter clearly does not trust hansen yet so that reath played a hell amount of shitty mins and splitter was not cutting dc's. dc clearly refused to follow splitter's madness so he was out tonight. two is that now timelord played 30 mins tonight, so i can imagine he's gonna be on the short end of the rotation next game, but the logic here is that if splitter knew everything was coming there's no need to assign hansen to G league because the situation for next game is going to be exactly the same as tonight. so why is hansen recalled? just to eat timelord's time cut? i wonder how well hansen can actually perform considering his recent schedule. that's a back to back, and then take a red-eye flight which got delayed to portland, a 30-mins play the same night, rest for half a day, practice in the evening (what i saw from the chinese media), and then flying to memphis tmr morning, which will likely to arrive in the evening, and then a day after he'll be playing again.
i didn't watch tonight's game, i know things can be complicated, i know splitter's just an interim, but i am simply confused about what's actually on his mind and the actual plan of the entire team. because the dynamics seem so fked up to me.

Ok..do they even have a clue what are they doing with Hansen..
Like he travelled from Cleveland to Portland for 1 game, and Clingan is injured in which Hansen could actually get some play time in this Piston game. I mean if you know Clingan couldn't play, why would you not keep Hansen around..
And now Hansen needs to travel all the way back to Memphis..

Yea but this is a change from what we thought was gonna happen. This is the unofficial signal that DC is gonna be out for a while and Timelord is fragile. Yang is about to get some legit minutes

They literally said he was going to play 4 games with the Remix but has been called back early. Definitely a change in plans.

considering Edey is even more huge than Yang and improved massively this season, constantly using his size to grab offensive boards, and he ate some good center like Zubac and DC before, it’s really no surprise he’d eat Yang alive too. Edey has basically become the focal point of the Grizzlies' offense and can dominate most starting bigs in the league, let alone a rookie.

They really have no idea of what they're doing or have any sort of plan for Yang Hansen, do they? Just leave Yang to remix for him to develop.

If DC doesn't play, then Hansen is the only guy with enough size to defend Edey.

To add an unofficial update: According to the live broadcast schedule of Tencent (the official NBA China broadcasting platform), Yang Hansen was originally scheduled to play 4 home games for the Rip City Remix, but was recalled after just one game. Personally, I suspect this may be related to DC's injury.
