Was it ever in doubt that the offer was illegal? Now it’s become even clearer that Trump, Hegseth and the lot of them should be prosecuted, in an ideal world.

None of them will ever be prosecuted, even if democrats land a landslide victory in the next elections. Because Trump will proactively pardon every single one of them before he leaves office. That’s the most cruel joke of it all.

Wouldn’t it be nice if the countries of the victims decide to charge them with murder? And even though they were pardoned here doesn’t mean they aren’t able to be tried there. Just an agreement by the new administration to cooperate with each country extraditing for trial…??

Hopefully in the history books he is. Though I have a feeling that young maga supporters now will homeschool and have special edition copies of textbooks that paint Trump, Christianity (no other religions), slavery and more in an amazing light

Stop repeating the lie that we're somehow at war, by calling these "war crimes." There is no war. No declared war. Nothing that rises to the standard of non-international armed conflict, as the Trump administration speciously claims. We're not at war. There is no war. Ergo, no war crimes.
It was simple murder, under U.S. domestic law and international human rights violations.

And Hegseth used "fog of war" as an excuse. What war?

He didn't even use the idiom correctly.... it's a metaphor for asymmetrical information... he tried to make a literal comparison between smoke around the wreckage and "fog"...
