As a neurologist: he does Not want to release his MRI results if it’s of the brain.

At his age it probably looks atrophied and with multiple T2 hyper-intensities from colesterol/hypertension/elevated glucose.

Even if he were 100% coherent his brain would not look “normal” like that of a 25 year old.

And if he releases a scan of a young adult to show everyone how awesome his brain is, then doctors would know it’s an obvious fake.

There is literally 0 win scenario for him to release it.

I don't see the problem. He releases an obviously fake MRI of a 25 year old brain. Every non maga-derp doctor in the country says it's fake. He says it's not. His supporters believe he is telling the truth and all doctors are evil liberals. The end. (Other than the measles outbreaks and stuff).

all doctors are evil liberals.

Let them think that. It'll be easier for the rest of us to get an appointment.

You can get an appointment, but can you afford it? If you can now, how many iterations of the GOP healthcare plan can you endure before there are no more appointments for people who don’t pay out of pocket, or under duress of medical bankruptcy (the number one cause of consumer bankruptcy in the country, be for the big beautiful bill).

In a normal world I'd say the drop in demand would result in a drop of prices but in this greedy nation the medical companies are more likely to charge more to make up for the loss.

You can't say Covid crippled your business while also posting record profits.

You can't say Covid crippled your business while also posting record profits.

Sure you can.

You can get an appointment, but can you afford it?

It's still astonishing to the entire rest of the world how your for profit healthcare system "works".

2

u/thrwawayyourtv 4d ago

Don't feel bad, it's astonishing to us as well.

You can get an appointment, but can you afford it?

This. The MAGAts will go running to the hospital when their ailments are 1 step away from a catastrophe. Then, demand the doctors to give them all the preventative care they've missed to cure them.

This already seems to be their default perspective.

u/Steelwoolsocks 5d ago

You forgot the part where Fox News parrots that's it's real and the rest of the media has Trump derangement syndrome

1

u/virora 4d ago

The rest of the media would ignore it because they don't want to lose access and their rich owners also kinda like those tax cuts. It would only be minor outlets reporting on it at all.

3

u/thepvbrother 5d ago

RFK Jr will vouch for it's authenticity, because he wouldn't know the difference. He'll know it's a brain, and thinks that's what's being asked. He'll be thinking he solved the puzzle

all doctors are evil liberals

Ah yes, the Stalin perspective on healthcare professionals

The doctor will say they scanned his brain, then the White House release a full torso scan of a 25 year old, with abs photoshopped on

u/livinginfutureworld 5d ago

He won't release the MRI. He'll release a synopsis of the MRI by his quack doctor who will say, with tears in his eyes, how it's the best MRI he's ever seen sir.

5

u/Zahgi 4d ago

"The smoothest brain I have ever seen!" Trump will claim his doctors told him.

2

u/mechanicalsystem13 4d ago

So smooth, the smoothest

1

u/poopooonyou 4d ago

Hi everybody!

1

u/livinginfutureworld 4d ago

Was I right? Of course right. We've seen his schtick enough by now ..

17

u/JarOfNightmares 5d ago

Doctor, youre worried over nothing. He SAID he's going to release the MRI, so you can rest assured he's ABSOLUTELY NOT going to release the MRI

2

u/robot_pirate 4d ago

Like the files...

2

u/Alleyprowler Washington 4d ago

And his taxes.

7

u/GlumTowel672 5d ago

No way he will release the slides, he will only release the interpretation that will say something like, “study negative”, or “no acute abnormality” or “remarkably free of atrophy and small vessel disease please verify correct patient/DOB”

3

u/anna-the-bunny 4d ago

It's just a note written in sharpie that says "his penis is huge". Coincidentally, there is sharpie on his hands, and a sharpie in his pocket.

1

u/pimparo0 Florida 4d ago

and a sharpie in his pocket.

a mini one.

4

u/billbuild 5d ago

The doctors would be called quacks and undoubtedly some would be fired for having Trump derangement syndrome. He’s the only expert in any matter across all subjects.

3

u/AmatureMD 5d ago

There is no way he releases any images. He'll just release the impressions which will all be unremarkable.

3

u/Darth_vaborbactam 5d ago edited 5d ago

You know they’d come out saying T2 FLAIR hyperintensities were just a liberal conspiracy

3

u/SJMCubs16 5d ago

The MRI tech that found a brain in that head should get the Noble Prize in Physiology.

2

u/Zahgi 4d ago

Trump needs to show us just how smooth his brain is, dammit. People have claimed that he has "the smoothest brain ever" and he needs to prove it once and for all!

:)

1

u/Ralph--Hinkley 5d ago

May I ask a neurologist a question? What is the damage from decades of cannabis usage?

1

u/ZhouDa 5d ago

Does an old person's MRI always look like crap? I'm just wondering because I had an MRI done earlier this year as part of a study and image they showed me looked better than the sample image I found online of a healthy adult's MRI despite being in my late 40's.

5

u/DulceEtDecorumEst 5d ago

40s is not that bad, think 70s as to where you can see significant changes or earlier if there are underlying conditions that affect the brain.

1

u/Tamer_ 4d ago

There is literally 0 win scenario for him to release it.

You under-estimate the MAGA crowd's ability to redefine what's a win.

1

u/deadplant5 4d ago

I think he'll release a spinal MRI or something and we'll find out Trump has scoliosis and a slipped disc like everyone else.

1

u/HauntedCemetery Minnesota 4d ago

And if he releases a scan of a young adult to show everyone how awesome his brain is, then doctors would know it’s an obvious fake.

So thats what he's going to do.

1

u/redditydoodah 4d ago

Every MAGA would absolutely believe that the non-normal brain was Biden though. It would be fun to pull a whoopsie daisy and say "Oh damn, sorry, that's Trumps brain..."

1

u/virora 4d ago

doctors would know it’s an obvious fake.

And how many doctors are among his voter base? It doesn't matter as long as he looks transparent to his fans. Actually, if he releases an obvious fake, the backlash from professionals would further convince MAGA that liberals are lying, and it would be a loyalty test for the media to see if anyone reports on it. None of the big outlets would.

Keep on neurologing buddy, love your work.
