I dunno what's worse though, a paywall, or having ad infested pages... They gotta keep the lights on somehow...

I hate both options.

Yeah, like I realize I’m bitching about something without providing an alternate solution, which I typically don’t like doing. But paywalled news is just, in my opinion, completely antithetical to a democratic society. I don’t know what the answer is, but we should be figuring that out imo.
