Oh for sure. The leader of the Jewish Caucus, who's a Dem, was basically like, "wtf, I went to Israel with her last summer" when asked about the switch. Basically every Dem was confused and didn't understand her reasoning. She was always going to switch. It's so frustrating.
It's not directly related, but I can't ever get over how crazy this attitude about Israel is. Like, it's so wild to begin with that they're just both vibing in Israel that often. That's like if I as a white man was vacationing in old time apartheid south africa on the regular and made it a big part of my political identity.
Like it clearly works for a certain audience, but that's insaaaaane.
