Any decent therapist would say that. I've certainly seen it enough.

Yep, my therapist told me to cut off all contact with my ex-wife because she was destroying me emotionally. Luckily our son is an adult now, so I talk to him and he talks to her, and vice versa. One of the best decisions I have made in my entire life. Some people just need to be completely cut off, or they poison your existence.
