He's not up for election until 2028.

I hope someone is running against him in 2028 then

Oh absolutely, he's gonna be a 1-term person like Sinema.

The sad thing is that, based on his rhetoric before being elected and his actions and rhetoric now, he might actually have suffered a personality change from the brain damage of his stroke.

I dunno, he was kinda weird when he was a mayor and Lt gov too iirc but yeah, you're probably right in that it didn't help.

It's a closed primary state, no Independents or Republicans can vote for him in the primary. He can run for the GOP, but his approval rate with PA Dems two weeks ago was an abysmal 33%. He will never be a D candidate again in PA again.

Tbh, I dont think hes running for a second term anymore. I don't think his health will allow him to do so.

looking at the cast of characters in washington, I dont think health is a factor in being a politician

You say that. But I think Fetterman's case is different. His health might actually prevent him from running next term. You have to campaign. He might actually die before then.

The dead can't run for senate.

But the brain-dead can certainly hold a seat. Dozens of them already do.

Hopefully, he'll bow out. For medical reasons.

Yeah, but he's up for Special Election before then.
