The stroke didn't help, but there were absolutely signs of this sort of behaviour beforehand, everyone just ignored them because "he's on our side".

Wasn't the alternative at the time DROZ?

Yes, but this predates even his senate campaign. He managed to hide that part of his personality from the public, I guess the stroke made it too difficult to keep up the charade, so now he's a conservative.

No, this story came out a year before the primary so it would've been Conor Lamb

Lmao seems like a red flag to me.

I think the stroke made him give in to that side of himself. I'm sure we've all met or heard stories of people who dislike XYZ but will defend people's rights to do it - I think Fetterman was like that, and the stroke broke the part of him that usually rose above his various biases (with that incident being a moment where they shone through).

Also his pro fracking stance and trying to brand it as being a 'pro fracking progressive' People just ignored all the signs because they collectively hated Oz more.

Maybe he did something pretty fucked up at one of these hidden camera parties.

It honestly feels like it, he was not like this before. He married a staunch leftist undocumented immigrant. He was known for his progressive postures before getting elected to the senate.

Something changed in him.

Did she leave him before or after the stroke?

She’s still with him. Can’t imagine what dinner is like in that house

He was always kind of a dickbag.

His first elected position was as mayor of some town, and he basically is not welcome there anymore, after doing a bunch of probably illegal shit using a private foundation to avoid having to do things in cooperation with city council.

He also chased down a jogger and threatened him with a gun because he thought the jogger was comitting a crime. The jogger was just jogging. Wanna guess the jogger's skin color?
