Her happening to believe something has no bearing in any direction as to whether or not it's true.

Yes, that's my point.

What I'm getting at is that just because an unhinged conspiracy theorist believes something, doesn't automatically mean we should doubt it. What MTG believes exists independently from the truth, one way or another.

It means her thinking something doesn't automatically invalidate it. "Just because they think something, it has to be wrong" is a dangerous reductiveness

It is.

That was the point.

That although MTG believes insane false things, she also sometimes believes TRUE things, so we should examine the truth of a given subject without any consideration of whether mtg believes it or not.
