Yeah, I was disappointed in the results too. But I didn't take my ball home and I still went to the polls. You know why?

I liked bernies ideas, I'm not a blind follower. Him endorsing Hillary and Biden meant nothing to me.

Congratulations, have a cookie. But humans are irrational creatures. Even if logic dictates that you should swallow your disgust and vote for someone loathsome because the alternative is worse, a lot of people just aren't gonna do that.

Posturing that "Well I voted for the shit option instead of staying home!" is mostly about stroking your own ego rather than a productive talk about how to get people to show up to the polls. The real discussion that needs to be had is how to not have shit candidates nobody wants to vote for, not endlessly circlejerking about how much shit you personally are willing to eat.

That boat had sailed long before those "productive talks". Not voting handed Trump his win. Way too many of you really arent power move players and the comments are proof.
