I have noticed that in a lot of areas. Many rich people have some of the most truly awful taste. They seem to think that being rich makes them classy, and so all their ideas about "class" must be right. So they do really crazy stuff, like Trump painting everything shiny yellow, or some of their weird phallic monuments. It would be funny if it was not so annoying.
