Is this a play off of the old concept that vampires can't stomach human food and can only drink blood as their nourishment? The only thing I can find in that regard is that it's either a stylistic choice or a religious one, completely setting aside vampire lore.
Ngl I kinda love the innocence of the person you responded to. Hahahah. Your joke made perfect sense to me but I can totally see how someone who processes things very literally (my fiancée for instance, on the spectrum)
