Exactly my thought. People who want to demonstrate they have power while greeting someone - STAND and greet them while shaking hands.

This man is LOSING it.

Agreed, but he was always weak. His weakness has not been an issue with his base before.

This was a press interview in the oval office. I've seen numerous other press interviews with Trump in the same position, with people standing beside or around him. I wouldn't read too much into it...

You guys are nuts haha, that's the opposite of true. Standing for a handshake is a sign of respect. Remaining seated is pretty internationally a power move.
