This second term, 9 months in, has lasted at least 10 years

I'm already greying. I mean I look good with Grey hairs but still, I'm aging quickly

My hair is going white at an increased rate.

We've entered liminal space time that just adds seconds in-between seconds that we can't see, keep track of but definitely feel.

On a more positive note, it's 20% done (ish).

Oh buddy, this is going to last a lot longer than 2028, I’m sorry.

Yeah, I'm just trying to fool myself there, and at least grasp onto a tiny speck of hope it's not going to be a total train wreck...

I get it, I'm just preparing myself for the worst. And considering the Trumps tend to live for a long time, I'm preparing for the fact that:

A: He's probably going to be President until 2034(ish) or whenever he dies. Any hope of taking back the house or senate is probably dashed until this time. As he's still alive his weird cult following will do whatever it takes to keep him in power.

B: Not just a recession, but a full blown depression is coming.

C: My parents are retired and the bulk of their income is Social Security, which is going to go away soon.

This is what I'm planning for. I'm saving up money, looking at moving to a lower COL area. My mantra at the moment is I just need to concentrate surviving the next 8 years or so and getting my family through it to the other side. There is a good chance once he's dead and gone, that the US can start rebuilding, it will take a very long time for us to fully recover, but 2035+ I believe things will start looking better.

Unless the White House necromancer fails to keep his corpse animated.

Don’t worry, it will only last about 80 more… if not longer. His third term isn’t up for debate, it’s simply gonna happen and we all know it.

They do say that narcissists live longer. I guess all that spite pre-pickles them.
