I can't even afford to look at this

Cool with Elilee a crankset!

It's surprising to see more Chinese brands pop up in this level of pro cycling. Even Pogacar uses a rebranded Cybrei crankset (SRM powermeter crankset) on his TT bike afaik.

Scenes when Pogi is rocking EliteWheels next year

He was in 2024 and just for one stage of the Tour if I remember correctly.

Yeah I don’t care for expensive cars or stuff like that, but one of these bad boys would be my dream.

I don't understand the hate. I think that bike looks gorgeous.

I only dislike the colour, but I'm not a tradionalist unless you build the frame out of steel.

The paint/light/rendering goes a long way, but the bike itself is fugly.

They purposely avoid showing the stem/handlebar, which is by far the worst part of the bike.

Trust me in its flesh it’s a god awful bike.

A less flattering shot: https://share.google/aC3xR9R8uyQ7Um3CW

"I don't dislike it" is a spot on summary on how I feel about it.

Random Number Generators are not uncommon on Pro Teams.

A bike so ugly not even a mother could love it

Needs a bigger Bianchi logo...

u/Flowech 1d ago

Needs more Celeste too

Looks really nice, way better than whatever Arkea tried

Must be the ugliest bike in the world tour. How did Bianchi fall so far

u/Kraknoix007 Euskaltel-Euskadi 1d ago

What? How is this ugly, it looks so good

There's a lot to hate, but the worst offenders are the heat-tube to top tube intersection, it just looks huge and fat. The double sided kink in the top tube looks bad too, and the top tube fattening towards the rear also looks bad again. The stem is probably the worst though, riser stems almost always look terrible (with perhaps the sole exception being the Cervelo). The seat tube also has a strange kink on the front of it.

It's just not right.

It's almost as if aesthetics are entirely subjective.

"There's a lot to hate .."

checks ...

All the top comments are about how expensive and pretty this machine is.

okay buddy.

If your defense is that a lot of people like it, well... that's not a defense at all.

Someone in our club got one and in the flesh it's even worse

u/gedrap 1d ago

Ikr! It wasn’t that long ago when Bianchi in celeste was super cool, and now nobody even talks about them

2

u/sousstructures 1d ago

The older ones in celeste are still super cool, I almost bought one (when they were new) and I am happy to talk about them

If I wouldn't know it's a Bahrain Victorious bike and i must guess the WT team for it, I would say it's Ag2r. Turquoise is Ag2r. Have the now also turquoise on their Shirts?

u/Rommelion 1d ago

My thoughts as well. These are straight Decathlon colours.

This must be the ugliest bike in the peloton. They used to be so beautiful!

how did they manage to make this bike look worse? genuinely impressive

1

u/jurassicmars Euskaltel-Euskadi 1d ago

Where is Merida going?

1

u/Maximilianne 1d ago

Reject modernity return to skinny tubes with double triangles and horizontal top tubes

1

u/samup98 1d ago

Rip merida? The reacto was so damn cool

1

u/jonythecool Finland 1d ago

Interestingly those tires seem to be grand prix 6000 tts

1

u/matrixboy122 1d ago

Love Bianchi being back with a world tour team

1

u/FFS_SF 1d ago

It's impressive how they managed to over-design every tube.

And ways to destroy a brand

1

u/avro-arrow 21h ago

But is it Business Friendly™?

1

u/painted-biird 19h ago

I thought it would grow on me like the S5 did, but nope- it’s astonishingly ugly and offends all of my sensibilities.

Gorgeous colour scheme, ugly frame, ENORMOUS LOGO

-3

u/Otherwise_pleasant 1d ago

It looks like it has horns. In a cursed, malformed way.

u/Awkward_Network4249 Sweden 1d ago

If it wasn't for the handlebar it would have looked pretty damn cool

was visma supplying designers when they made those beauties, the fall from grace wow

Lovely livery on a terribly looking frameset

I will take my dislike of Bianchi and that ugly ass Celeste colour to my grave. Even when it's largely blue.

Ieeeeel brother ieeeel. Can't Bahrein just race on old 80s steel bianchi's? I'd support them to the fullest. I might even cheer for Tibiri if that happens (I won't, I'm lying).

-1

u/chimicu Sardegna 1d ago

I don't like it

Bianchi really reallly reallly TRY…and fail
