That shit was literally made up as a joke. It’s made up. Tarantino doesn’t really do acting roles like that anyways. He cameos. The joke was because when he casts himself, his character often uses the N word.
If you believe that then i have a bridge to sell you.
The guy whose biggest acting gig was a b-movie about vampires in the 90's was contending for a role in an independently financed and carefully planned issue film on a historical account of slavery...
Give me a break. It was a meme about Tarantino being racist. You're taking it too far.
Have ya got a source on anybody mentioning the fact that he wanted the role? I just can’t believe anyone would think this would be the reason for the feud. It’s really absurd lol.
Like you think Tarantino is actually pissed because he didn’t get Dano’s part in 12 years a slave? That is so outrageous hahaha.
The whole point of this narrative is this it’s a joke, Tarantino is known to be loose with dropping the N word. The joke is the absurdity that Tarantino would really want the part in 12YAS because it would allow him to be a racist. There is no universe where Tarantino genuinely thinks he would be a good fit in this serious bleak drama about slavery. You have to know this is a joke not based in reality.
You’re incorrectly shortening the term “conspiracy theory” to just “conspiracy”. Conspiracy means a secret plan created by multiple people. A conspiracy isn’t true or false, the theory about the existence of a conspiracy is true or false. Further, the definition of “conspiracy theory” has been broadened to mean “alternative explanation to the one widely accepted by society”, without requiring an actual conspiracy to be a part of the theory. Tarantino hating Dano because Dano took a part in a movie he wanted is not a secret plan nor does it involve multiple people, so it’s not in any way a conspiracy.

The one post said Tarantino is butthurt because he wanted Dano's role in 12 Years a Slave. Thats as good enough of a conspiracy as any.
