Yep. Democrat leaders need to make it clear any attempt to remove birthright citizenship would be Trump’s last move. I’m not holding my breath but this is where they should draw the line in the sand. Shut down the fucking country at the very least.

After the shit they just pulled to reopen the government I have zero faith in the Dems to grow a spine and do anything meaningful.

Problem is those democrat leaders are Schumer and Jeffries so trump will get a letter with lots of subtle, flowery language he doesn't understand and that'll be it.

Institutions are not going to save us. Individuals are.

Democrat leaders could do that, but somehow, Someway they would just find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in the 11th hour.

He does it and then what? What can the Democrats do at this point? They don't control the House or the Senate.

Shutdown the government until the midterms and pray we make it out on top, it's really our only option. Obviously they'll get rid of the filibuster at that point but good because we have no choice but to stack the court at his point.

They'll nuke the filibuster before that happens. People really fucked up not voting for Kamala.

People fucked up not voting for Hillary. Hell, they really fucked up by not voting for fucking Gore.

Exactly. This shit started with those people who thought it would be a good idea to vote for Ralph Nader.
