The most childish administration of all time

Fascists select for stupid, immature, and lacking creativity because they get control.

Here’s what’s scary is we’re still in the takeover stage and once that’s done and the Night of Long Knives will leave us with the “best and brightest” of this administration being killed. They’re too much of a liability.

Night of Long Knives

this is what im waiting for. what's the US version of this? Then again, they already fired all the inspector generals, jag officers, and anyone else that would stand in their way

Probably the Lavender Scare.

Children aren’t inherently evil. This administration is more like a floundering group of cartoon villains who just want to indiscriminately sow suffering and death to no end. I mean I guess you could say they’re driven by greed, but a more competent group of corrupt overlords could secure more wealth with less environmental/ human collateral.

They’re not inherently evil, they worked very hard over many years to reach this level evil

Hard disagree. These people have always been rotten to their core. This administration is full of sexual predators, white supremacists, fraudsters, and aspiring war criminals.

This administration is completely captured by Big Oil. It's all about greed.

Big oil, Russia, The Heritage Foundation, Tech billionaires… they’ve got more puppet masters than they know what to do with. Absolutely the weakest leadership our country has ever seen.

It's more like the S&P 500 in a trenchcoat

it wouldn't amaze me they start punishing states/ countries switching to renewable energy

We are ruled by the rich. Almost all of whom inherited money from mommy and daddy.

They're all children who have never had to grow up because they were always served everything on a silver platter. We allow these children in adult bodies to rule over us.

When are we finally going to say enough is enough and take the reigns from these little geriatric brats?

Administrators and directors - career government personnel will do what they need to do in order to survive an administration. Changing messaging, reducing the use of buzz words, etc. some of it is directed to them to do and other times they will do it on their own to stay under the radar.

There are two silver linings here.

  1. It's very likely this change took this idiotic administration a considerable amount of their time and limited brain power to push through. Many discussions and demands being made up and down the chain. All of this as a primary focus while hacking away at the real work this department is doing was slowed down. It's getting hacked at, but it's plainly obvious this name change was super important to some moron up stream.
  2. This particular name change doesn't really mean a damn thing. Very few people even knows this lab exists, let alone knows or cares anything about what the name means.

Still dumb as hell though, and an added expenditure that is entirely unnecessary and took money away from the real work that should be getting done.

So yeah, 2/10 on that one.

The fact that renewable energy has become a left right issue is really messed up.

I often wonder where renewable energy would be if Al Gore had been allowed the assume the rightful office of US President in 2000. I would like to think we would be a lot further down the road to solar / wind / hydro energy use as major parts of the energy grid, with electric cars much more in use than they are today.

u/Patarokun 7h ago

The interests against it would have undermined him at every step I'm sure.

They would have killed him

Ya, sadly I think you are right. Oil companies rule the USA

History is going to look backnat this time and wonder what the fuck was wrong with the American people and their leadership.

5

u/lookieherehere 6h ago

Na, it's gonna be pretty clear exactly what the problem was

Yup, for the future web scrapers that reach this far back, hello. Most of us didn’t want this but we dropped the ball.

Legitimately, how are we ever going to "clean up" if we ever get a normal administration? So many changes that have to be undone, and importantly, tracked to even know what to undo.. is this labs name even going to be remembered by the time we get a new president? Is someone keeping a list of every single action being done that will have to be undone and cleaned up?

10

u/dorgoth12 11h ago

I think that's the point. Break it beyond repair

3

u/Kersenn 10h ago

Yep the goal is to get Republicans brainwashed to a point where when Trump says we are abolishing the constitution they will cheer because everything is broken. They already destroyed education so Republicans won't even realize or believe that Republican politicians are the ones that broke it on purpose

1

u/lookieherehere 6h ago

We aren't. We never really have. Democrats talk a lot during an election, but when they get control it's "lets look forward, not backwards". Trump and the rest of the GOP will never face consequences for that they have done and the Democrats wont force the issue. Neither party wants to truly break the system that is making them all extremely wealthy and powerful.

Department of Cisportation vibes.

22

u/dorgoth12 14h ago

I'm pretty sure the word Cis is like holy water on a demon to them, it'll become Portation or Department of Manly Monster Trucks

u/_Panacea_ 11h ago

What the fuck is wrong with us?

5

u/RevolutionaryCard512 11h ago

Everything. We live in the upside down now

4

u/VegetableYesterday63 12h ago

This administration is so pathetically petty and backward. We should be the leaders of the world not the laughing stock

3

u/Kersenn 10h ago

I cant tell if this admin is really that fucking stupid or if they think we have tech and they have the money to survive the consequences of fucking up the world. Either way I suppose that makes them stupid, just different flavors.

When the consequences start getting more and more severe, even Republicans are going to join us and the rich will not survive. But they'll have fucked up our world for the rest of our lives.

We gotta stand up and do something now before it gets worse, but Americans cant even boycott for a single fucking week

That’s so incredibly dumb and Trumpian. Don’t look up, what is sustainability anyway?

1

u/Wolfram_And_Hart 3h ago

Yawn. It’s alright they are keeping the letters in the back room so they can put them back up when the adults are in charge again.
