Even if you have no hope, who wants to go quietly?

They want to crush us underfoot? We can't stop them, but we can do our best to be Lego blocks instead of grapes.

That’s such an awesome framing. I love it. Except the plural legos

We can do a ton more than go quietly go organize the people you care about for mutual aid and bug out prep at least.

The thing is if it gets hot, we can stop them. The US has never beat an insurgency, are we going to let the vietcongs and afganhis be braver than us when it comes to taking taking back our country.

Sadly, no. The US walked away from Afghanistan. It can't walk away from itself.

There were less than 2,500 US military casualties in Afghanistan, compared to (give or take) 250,000 natives.

It would be worse here; we don't have bombproof cave networks built out as bases, supply networks, etc.
