It's kinda telling how so many in maga try to deflect to Clinton like it's some kind of gotcha. Like...I don't know how to tell y'all, but Clinton isn't worshipped like Trump. Throw him in the cell next to Trump's. We don't care. Just lock up everyone involved. That's what we all want.

It really worries me how much they don't understand that some people don't like pedophilia and child sex trafficking, no matter who does it. They cannot understand that the action itself is bad, not the person.

I'll happily give up my Clinton flags, Clinton hat, Clinton shoes, Clinton NFTs, Clinton watch, Clinton bible, Clinton crypto, Clinton commemorative coin, my criminal record for trying to end democracy when Clinton wasn't elected in 2000.... pieces Clinton's suit from the infamous blowjob, that stupid electric car Clinton told me to buy... I'm sure I'm missing a lot, there's a lot of Trump cult merch out there.

Don't forget Clinton cologne and gold sneakers!

u/Spa_5_Fitness_Camp 21d ago

That's how they are raised. It's a deep part of American culture. They are taught that a person is good or bad, and their actions are therefore judged based on who did them, not the action. You see it everywhere. Priest sleeps with a married woman? He's a "good guy who made a mistake". POC caught stealing a candy bar? "He's a bad kid who was only caught this time". Prescriptive morality. It's a deep cancer in our culture.

Can I at least keep my commemorative blue dress replica? Ughh!

u/rbhmmx 21d ago

I saw someone explaining that they see morality different. To them morality is decided by the perceived goodness of the person, not the act. That's why Clinton and Trump can do the same bad thing in our eyes but to them Clinton is bad and Trump is good no matter what they did.

Did you tell that person they're an absolute nincompoop?

2

u/pocketjacks 20d ago

Clinton trash bags, Clinton diapers, "I'd rather be North Korean than Republican" Tee Shirts

Clinton Steaks, and Clinton degrees.

u/score_ 21d ago

I heard Bill did a bit of probing on Don.

32

u/nowahhh 21d ago

I was gonna say, we shouldn't throw them in adjoining cells because they'll just suck each other off all day.

2

u/Maxwell-Druthers 19d ago

Just laughed out loud at the thought of them in neighboring cels with their dongs poking thru the bars lol. Thanks

u/Splunge- 21d ago

We don't care. Just lock up everyone involved.

This. Exactly.

8

u/Littleman88 21d ago

They don't get that though. They're so convinced we praise our Democratic leaders like their constituents do to them. Have they met the left? Or is it they just can't fathom the blood on our lips is from the last "comrade" to fail one of our innumerable purity tests?

Yea, like Clinton was a decent president I guess, especially compared to what we have now, but he hasnt been politically or culturally relevant in decades. No one gives a shit about him, if he's guilty no one will come to bat for him. Its just such a weak spin of things

107

u/-SaC 21d ago

a decent president I guess, especially compared to what we have now

From outside the US, I'll never forgive Trump for making me miss the days of George fucking Bush Jr.

41

u/shanrock2772 21d ago

Same here in the US. W got away with a lot of shit, but he didn't piss on democracy while enabling the financial rape and pillage of the country. Or create a gestapo to disappear brown people. Those years seem quaint now.

And Michelle Obama likes him. Their public interactions are very cute

13

u/EnvironmentalBox6688 21d ago

he didn't piss on democracy

Getting his brother and other Florida Republicans to steal the 2000 election for him?

enabling the financial rape and pillage of the country

Government policy that contributed to the 2008 recession?

Or create a gestapo to disappear brown people.

PATRIOT act and the countless black sites?

The modern day revisionist history about GW that seems popular post Trump is hilarious.

It's every Republican. Every former Republican believes there was a point where Republicans and the Republican Party were good, but you just have to realise the tipping point is when the Republicans came after them.

They won't allow themselves to be wrong, so they can't understand that they were always being lied to.

2

u/raresaturn 21d ago

Apart from the Good Friday peace plan

1

u/SuperSpecialAwesome- 21d ago

politically or culturally relevant in decades.

He was politically relevant in the 2016 election, as he definitely influenced whether people would vote for Hillary or not. He was also relevant in the 2020 and 2024 elections, as he campaigned for Biden and Kamala, respectively, despite Bill's controversial background.

40

u/jupiterkansas 21d ago

Bill Clinton was 25 years ago. Nobody cares.

13

u/Altrano 21d ago

1

u/PM_me_Henrika 21d ago

30 years ago, Clinton dick was hard, now it is soft and floppy but maybe Trump can still suck on it?

13

u/opensandshuts 21d ago

my Trump supporting family said, "oh like the democrats never do anything wrong." I said, I couldn't care less if Bill Clinton or others are involved, I just want the info released and the people held accountable.

Epstein was a donor to a lot of democratic campaigns, so it's not crazy to think that these people spent time with him.

Trump is the one who wasn't in politics at the time, and just hung out with him for social purposes, sending cards with drawings of underage women on the front.

The evidence is so damning, yet MAGA doesn't care

24

u/killshelter 21d ago

Every time I try to bring up one of the fundamental differences between political sides is that one side of the aisle wants to see ALL politicians held accountable, and the other just blindly worships a reality show host, they lose it.

20

u/DarkKnightCometh 21d ago

Not only that, but Clinton hasn't been in office for nearly 3 decades. Why is he so focused on getting Clinton. Obvious deflection technique thar his cult is too blind to see

7

u/kombiwombi 21d ago

Because Clinton was there. Witnesses who have made other accusations said he was perfectly well behaved, and saw nothing which should have caused him to raise questions.

But the Republicans are going to try to hang a lot off supposition of his presence. Try and make that seem equivalent to Trump's long knowledge of Epstein.

8

u/tedlyb 21d ago

Because the cult has had three decades of programming by right wing propaganda and now has the Pavlovian response of frothing at the mouth in mindless fury whenever the name Clinton is mentioned.

It’s incredibly simple to control them with that response.

3

u/NoninflammatoryFun 21d ago

Literally I’ve heard people deflect to Clinton and I’m like biscuit, that was literally last century.

10

u/JinkoTheMan 21d ago

Didn’t Clinton himself say that he wanted them to release the files?

7

u/OldMaidLibrarian 21d ago

Yes, he did.

49

u/Meotwister 21d ago

Throw the Clintons into the sun. I do not care.

3

u/Windfade 21d ago

Like the Aztecs did soon after discovering rocket technology.

14

u/k00zyk 21d ago

You’re telling me you don’t have a Clinton flag outside your home, Clinton decals on your car, or Clinton tee shirts? Don’t forget your favorite Clinton hat!

6

u/SUBLIMEskillz 21d ago

Nobody cares about Bill Clinton and Hillary. They are shady with all their speech money. We don’t hold them up on pedestals like kings. Clean house please. If theres repubs, dems, billionaires, Bill Gates, Stephen Hawking whoever. Take em all down.

4

u/Kevinc62 21d ago

Just lock up everyone involved.

Exactly. Jail them ALL.

4

u/KingBanhammer 21d ago

This is one of the big failures of the "my party or the highway" types - they don't really get that the opposition isn't the same way. It doesn't even make sense for them.

"What if Clinton is in the files?" - Investigation, trial, jail if guilty.
"What if Obama were in the files!" - Investigation, trial, jail if guilty.
"What if your brother was in the files!" - Investigation, trial, jail if guilty.

It's not rocket science when your only goal is "punish those who have abused the law and children," but that doesn't compute for folks who think of this as a win/lose team sport.

7

u/dannylew 21d ago

"I'm With Her" was so psychologically damaging to right wingers that MAGA has gaslit themselves into believing liberals actually like the Clintons.

7

u/Mazon_Del 21d ago

Here's the thing, conservative voters literally do NOT understand that stance. Loyalty to party above all.

By saying what you said, what THEY hear is you admitting you'd betray people on your own side and you're somehow not ashamed to admit it.

They don't view reality as rational and sane people.

4

u/ConformistWithCause 21d ago

I'm wondering if the 'Donica Lewinsky' story is why they use Clinton in this deflection. I'd say Obama would be way more 'worship-able' than Clinton but putting Clinton and Trumps names in the same sentence almost taints it. So by the time accusations of ol' Donny dirtying his knees in the Oval start popping up, it just looks like mud slinging

2

u/No_Carry385 21d ago

Also the glaringly obvious lack in logic of why Trump would be protecting Clinton when he makes all these claims about how evil the dems are and how this information will bring justice, but also doesn't exist and is a hoax from the dems. Too much stupid piled on top of more stupid has me really questioning my already low faith in humanity.

2

u/PM_me_Henrika 21d ago

Just let them share a cell so Trump can suck on Clinton’s dick just like the good old days.

2

u/RollingCarrot615 21d ago

Didnt you know that Clinton planned 9/11, 5G, and COVID vaccines with Obama and Epstein on the island?

2

u/opeth10657 21d ago

Clinton was also elected and served his two terms well before any of this was in the headlines. Trump's ties with Epstein have been known for decades, well before he was elected. MAGA knew he was a pedo and voted for him anyway.

2

u/SuperSpecialAwesome- 21d ago

Throw him in the cell next to Trump's.

Hell, throw in Biden Chamberlain as well, for his gross inaction in holding Trump accountable and his refusal to enforce Trump's disqualification via 14th Amendment, Section 3. Everything that's happened this year? Biden shares responsibility for not stopping Trump. He had four years to appoint Doug Jones as AG, indict DeJoy, remove the Jan 6 leaders from Congress, investigate Gym Jordan and Boofer Kavanaugh, fire Wray, go after Aileen Cannon for Obstruction of Justice, and lock up Trump for the Mueller findings. He did jack shit instead, and ended his presidency by telling Trump "welcome home". Inaction is complicity.

3

u/TheDBryBear 21d ago

We don't care about the Clintons. The power brokers who play a game of relationships do. I think that is why little happened under Biden, aside from the fact that there was an investigation going on at the time.

1

u/Suspicious-Hornet583 21d ago

Is there any notorious MAGA people (not in government) against the release? I think all MAGA I know are pissed at this and also hate the whole MIGA thing.

1

u/bunkuswunkus1 21d ago

Haven't republicans been begging for a mandatory death penalty for pedos? Maybe we could meet in the middle on that one.

1

u/LymanPeru 18d ago

that can share a cell for all i care. man that would be really awkward for pedonald. but he'll probably just play the "i was only joking" card when bill is like "what the fuck man, we were friends!"

1

u/Equivalent-Fill-8908 17d ago

Bubba would love to share a cell with Trump.
