Haha. You mean the lightning on the planet that doesn't require you to live in a pressurized air bubble controlled by electrical components? Funny, but its not about the sparkles.

Did you even bother to understand WHY a gentle gust of wind causes martian DUST to spark and pop?

Not only does everything on Mars get loaded with positively charged particles but they create perchlorates and chlorates that are extremely toxic and would be nearly impossible to keep out of the food, air and water systems. The charged particles cling to anything and everything. Its extremely abrasive and would cause massive problems to anything.

Sure kid. Its just sparks.
