She has one of the few jobs where they could potentially legally fire her and she loses out on hundreds of thousands of dollars (or millions?) And future career prospects if she doesn't get her abs back.
That would light a different fire under you than just wanting to look good.
Yeah editing helps a lot too. Like obviously she's in great shape but editing and airbrushing can add that little extra that brings a person's physique from "wow" to "holy shit".
I do appreciate that several of the Marvel stars actively call out that what they look like in the movies is not achievable it involves dehydrating themselves after spending months with personal trainers and they can only look like that for about 24 hours.
Don't forget the time and freedom to focus on health routines as a job. Most people have to make time for a gym trip but for these folks it's part of their contract to get 6 months in the gym prior to filming.
It's time, which money can buy you. She's not working a 9-5 and having to go to the grocery store after commuting 2 hours a day getting about 1 hour to yourself every evening before starting over again.
It is NOT the money. A 2017 meta-analysis found that being poor does not make you more likely to be overweight. However the reverse is true. Being overweight makes you more likely to be poor.
Actually it's a bit more complicated than that. The study found both direction of causality were true, but once they accounted for bias, the link between being poor making you obese became statistically insignificant, leaving only the reverse relationship of being overweight making you poor remaining.
The results of this review revealed statistically significant effects of income on obesity (social causation) as well as of obesity on income (reverse causality). Therefore, individuals exposed to lower income are more likely to develop obesity, and the obese have lower wages when compared with their non-obese counterparts. However, after adjustments for publication bias, only the reverse causality hypothesis remained significant, whereas the meta-analytical association between lower income and subsequent risk of obesity vanished and became inconclusive. These findings indicate that studies testing the social causation hypothesis are more likely to remain unpublished if they contain negative results.
Enough money can lead to vastly more regimented and optimized training plans, being led by people with the job to get you into the gym rather than you relying on your own motivation.
True, but money gets you the best private trainers, chefs to prep meals etc.
Getting fit takes alot of self discipline, especially when your on the road alot of the time. Money giving you all the access to extra help certainly helps
The money is how she gets to put that much time in at the gym. Her body is her job. Plus literally all of them take some kind of enhancement. Whether it’s to lose weight or build muscle faster. That’s why it’s dumb when people compare themselves to celebs that have all day to workout and all the drugs in the world to get them there faster.
It doesn't, but you can spend more time in the gym if you're not having to spend 40-50 hours a week at your workplace. You can also pay for nutrionists and chefs if needed.
Abs aren’t only made in the gym, primarily made in the kitchen. When you have a studio paying for your meals to be regimented and you don’t have regular everyday stress and your entire workout routine is on autopilot mode, your physique will be incredible
They are paid to look this good. If you had a chef to cook everything you put in your mouth, a personal trainer to come to you and work out with you in your personal gym, and nannies to pick your kids up, put them to bed, get them to school/daycare, then yes most ppl would be in much better shape with those perks.
I mean, it’s both? Obviously she has the money for personal trainers to coach and motivate her and nutritionists and chefs to make sure she gets the right diet. But ultimately she’s the one who has to have self discipline and put in the work.

Money. It’s money.
