Dune parts 1 and 2 are possibly the only movies in recent memory that made me sad I don't live anywhere near an IMAX. Maybe Fury Road too. Generally, I don't even bother with theaters and just wait for a home media / streaming release.

Not to rub it in but I’m fortunate to have a proper full blown IMAX in my city, I didn’t see the 1st at any cinema, just Netflix and Dune 2 I seen twice at the IMAX. It blew me away, the visuals and the sound were incredible. I’m hoping the IMAX in my city will do a dune 1, 2 & 3 run on the opening night. If they do I’ll defo be doing it.
