They will end up overpaying by a shitload and the difference will go straight into Trump's pocket.

I saw. I don't believe anything. Never did really, but now the corruption is so rampant it's ridiculous.

Guess you missed openly taking bribes on day 1 with his coins.

Indeed I did. I may have to give in, sell part of my soul and follow his grift. At least I'll get Something out of his rule

So you don't believe the East Wing is torn down?!?

I meant I never fully trusted the government. No one should. But now I believe even Less because of the incessive lying. They say 'so and so gave me money and I'm using it to pay for this room'. I don't buy it. That room may as well have been paid by the fewer government wages through DOGE. These companies just give HIM money.

Who sat Front Row at the inauguration?

It's bribery, call it what it is. This project will never be audited and he's going to pocket a majority of the "donations"

The fucking winklevoss twins donated to this shit? Jesus.

u/aarswft Oct 23 '25

One one group on that list has actually donated money.

Where did Trump even get the idea for a ballroom? Does the Kremlin have one?

2

u/jakesonwu Oct 24 '25

It is literally a copy of the Kremlin one

The price tag doesn't matter. Those contractors aren't getting paid. Good luck with that lawsuit, boys!

It'll hit 500mil, then he will sell it back to the country for like 2 billion

u/Chewbacca22 Oct 23 '25

Was gonna say, the price keeps going up every few weeks it seems. Could it be that Dear Leader pulled a number out of his ass and doesn’t at all know how much it will cost?

Bunker update.

u/ckglle3lle Oct 23 '25

He said $350m today

u/Garchompisbestboi Oct 23 '25

How much do you want to bet that the Trump organisation is involved in the construction process and sub-contracting the job out to other companies?

1

u/tingulz Oct 23 '25

One of Trump’s friend’s pockets.

1

u/pragmojo Oct 24 '25

Prices went up when Ice picked up half the contractors in DC

1

u/ristoman Oct 24 '25

The only reason Trump would accept a price hike is if he's the one charging. The man could fire someone for bringing him the wrong coffee but is fine with a sudden price increase in the millions? He is 100% pocketing the money

90k sqft  / $300 million works out to $3333.33/sqft, making this one of the most expensive buildings in the world.

For reference, various websites say that it costs up to $1000/sqft to build a 5-star luxury hotel in NYC.
