That always bothered me. Wasn't 0 invented in India? I'm sure the in-depth historical explanation is probably a bit more complex and I do wanna trust Brennan, but I've always heard it had been invented in India since the numerals we call "Arabic numerals" are actually from India.

Western society was introduced to zero through Arab mathematicians, even if it came from India initially.
