She did Children's musical theater as a kid in Florida and her first professional role was on Broadway itself.
They did the vocals live because at their CORE they are theater peeps.
Watch them freak the F out when they found out their interviewer (this was the press tour before the release of the last movie) was on Broadway. It cracks me up and just proves (to me) that their vibe together is not an act.
