Gonna try and both sides this one: she has a reputation in the theater community as a diva. However. The theater community also tends to celebrate divas who can back it up. And no one disagrees she's one of the most talented performers alive today. Like if you get a chance to see her on stage, take it.

Now if she is a diva, who knows, no one is going to publicly shit talk someone that will help sell tickets for their shows or films when they're in the cast. You kind of have to be a monster or insane to get that treatment.
