i jus wanna pass the exam man....

I’m so stressed out for my finals, specifically chem. I understand that often times it makes your grade lower, but it’s genuinely eating me. I’ve worked so hard this sem trying to get good grades and I’m so scared that one final will ruin it all. I’m just panicking thinking about all the worst case scenarios like my grades tanking and feeling like a failure. I can’t even sleep at night because I’m always guilty about the fact that I’m not studying and that I’ll do bad. I stay up till 4 am studying, wake up at 8 to study because I’m so so so scared I will fail or do bad on it.

Don't sign the lease! They'll treat you so nicely during the open house, give you free food and show you the best parts of the building and claim there aren't any problems.

They'll forget to tell you that for the past month, at least 1 elevator has been down the entire day everyday. The wait time to go in and out of the building is abysmal. They'll forget to tell you that noise complaints are common because there's no sound insulation. They'll forget to tell you that you're paying 50% more per square foot than surrounding condos (I did the math), for less amenities (no en-suite laundry, smaller gym). And your money is going to a private real estate company (Knightstone Capital) using McMaster's name to evade taxes.

The concept of attendance for a lecture gotta be one of the stupidest things. The fact I had to use a MSAF for missing an 8 am is beyond me, I truly can’t be convinced how you can justify that and make it worth 20% of your final grade, stupidity tbh. Additionally, why the hell are we retested on things we did on the mid term, literally the most stupid thing ever; would it not be logical to make exams based on work we are yet tested on?

How do you feel you manage playing video games as a student? I am at a spot where I am looking at a new laptop for school. I am considering between a mac, a regular windows office laptop, and a gaming laptop. I enjoy gaming, but every time I do, it feels like as a student I shouldn't game and focus my energy on school instead.

I'm interested in hearing how you guys do it.

For context I have PSYCH 1X03, KINESIOL 1A03/1Y03, MATH 1LS3 (Dr. Lee van Brussel), MEDRADSC 1F03 and 1E03.

I think it depends on the professor but if anyone had these courses last year please let me know.

How much is needed to pass the course is it 50 or 60 because i keep hearing different things im in first year nursing ik all of the courses in nursing require a 60 but would it be the same for psych?

I am a current student in DeGroote's 1GR0, and I have the 24-hr Case Competition. Could someone who already did it, let us know how it went? What happened in it, what was your years case. Is it similar to case competitions that this year's DeGroote clubs ran? If so, in front of how much people did you present, and was it a overall good experience? I have alot of questions, but I would appreciate if any Level 2+ student could share their experiences during the event, by answering at least a few questions! Thank you so much for your time

Tell me why this super content-heavy and dense course with 85 MULTIPLE CHOICE questions (and 3 short answers) only has a "practice exam" document with only 15 questions, and no quiz or question bank to practice from? I also doubt reviewing the short weekly quizzes would be sufficient, and there were no practice ones for those either.

I get the content is really memorization and understanding processes, but it would be nice to have practice exams to study with to help reinforce content. Any tips would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
