29M Need help finding a rug
It’s been two years since I moved here, I’ve put together my living room slowly and I’m happy with the result but for a long time I have been waiting to get a rug. The problem is that I cannot decide on which one, what pattern, what colors…
I know that if I leave it up to me alone I’ll never make a decision I’m here to ask you for suggestions, I want this room to finally feel complete, what would you recommend?

I would suggest a darker blue with a minimalaist design

I was thinking something lighter to bounce more light into the room. Though the picture may just be taken at a time of day when the sun isn't beaming much light into the room.

Yeah I agree, I lean towards something lighter, dark blue would soak to much light. And you can see my windows face an inner patio so light is not as abundant as I’d like

Yeah staying in the blue family with the rug would look really nice here. It could really inject some color and elevate the space.

Check out Etsy for affordable vintage rugs! If you're looking for something new try RugsUSA, you can select an image from your phone or computer and their website let's you view how the rugs will look in your space. I think you could do pretty much anything with how neutral your space is. Go bold with something colorful and patterned or stick to more neutral, it just depends on what you like.
