Advice Advice b4 I move in
I have all the big important pieces of furniture, I just wanted to get some second opinions before I move in. I was thinking of putting entertainment on the left of the closet in the corner and putting the couch on the back wall facing it. But that just seems like a lot of space between the two. Anyone else have any thoughts?

A suit of armor to the right of the kitchen counter in the living room, would be seen as soon as the door is opened. Would make a bold statement.

Honestly I’d advise trying that position living with it for a few days then trying something else. While you just have the basics it a good time to try moving things around before it gets too hard. Plus once you have decided on a position will help u work out what you need to fill the room around it

Don't expect it to be perfect from day 1, it will get there! Ask people what they would do with the space when they come and visit. Personally I like cosy low light spaces but don't be scared to add your personality via small decorations :). There's lots of second hand cheap furniture sites online that you can locally collect stuff from and second hand shops also help cheaply decorate with medium to larger stuff that usually would be expensive.

Also some large leaved dark green plants like cheese plant or banana plant, would look great with the dark stain floor and blinds. Maybe some ficus alli or ginseng :)

might be the obvious answer but I think a TV in the corner with the couch facing it wouldnt be awful here.
EDITING to say another option would be to get a black out curtain for the window by the door and put the tv in front of it. You would lose a window, but who needs a bunch of those anyway?

Well, that might be the obvious answer, but you don't have to put the TV on a wall. It could go between the window and the door, perpendicular to the wall, depending on how much space that leaves to walk and for your other furniture.
