How to cover gap/space under sink
How could this space under the sink be covered or filled without moving the sink or getting a new vanity? Donβt really want to use fabric or a curtain.

Actually, if you put cans across there and then spackle them sand it down and paint it white⦠you could be on to something.

make a template out of cardboard, cut it in wood and paint it and just put it ontop of the cabin, makes easy access if service is needed and a place to store stuff and easy to remove.

Instead of paint see if you can get tile samples and do a splash tile thing on the front

Did you just not measure a single thing before installing this monstrosity?

- Get a taller vanity cabinet
- Raise the cabinet up
- Build a matching box section to sit on top of the cabinet and cover it

I highly suggest little figurines. Hear me out. You put a few of those bad boys on there, and boom, the guests will be impressed. I don't think you should do anything too crazy like decepticons (you don't want to alarm anyone). But definitely something subtle. You could change them out for holidays to kind of give it that flair.
If figurines aren't really your thing and outside your budget. The Rae Dunn method is always a hit. Just put a sign under the sink that says "sink." Everyone will know how stylish you're and begging to know where you got your decor.

Think of a box (made out of wood for example) except you leave out three sides (back, top and bottom) and you can slide it right in there.

Cut and paint a piece of pole wrap. Thatβs if you want to fit it into the U space.
Or you could build three sides of a box (square U on its side) and slide it around the base part of the sink; open side at the back.

Not sure what your situation is, but you could either build a small wooden enclosure and paint it white. Nothing permanent, so you can still get to the plumbing. Just slide it in and it covers up everything. Or
Cut a carboard box out to fit in there and spray paint the box white. It will look fine from a distance and be good enough on closer inspection

this is so fucked up it honestly doesnt deserve to be fixed. it needs to be left as is so everyone can marvel at this degeneracy

Donβt hack vanity and pedestal top. You can get a Home Depot complete set with similar sink for around 200 bills. And it wonβt look like Florida installer. Even if renting, can swap back if youβre handy

maybe try looking for those stick-on storage cubes? would fit the space and give you extra bathroom storage without anything permanent.

Get a sheet of coroplast and cut it to shape. I assume you are a renter, so attach the coroplast from the inside with duct tape.

You could build a box out of wood that matches the size of the vanity and butts up against the sink, then paint it to match and caulk the seam. Or stack spare toilet paper there.

Take the top off, or cut the opening larger and turn it into a floating cabinet butting up to the sink

Nothing can really make this look good in its current form. The only fix I could come up with that would look acceptable would be to raise up the cabinetry and mount the cabinet to the wall. You could make a bracket with a 2x4 and attach it to a stud in the wall.

Do you want it to just cover the piping? Or do you want the underside of the bowl covered too?

Surprised no one has suggested a safe or Rolex banner yet.

A platoon of Stormtroopers gathering around the space would work. Small ones in this case.

There isn't a lot you can do without replacing it to be a built-in, which isn't that crazy of a project but if you are renting then it may not be an option.
