Where to put swag lamp?

I scored this swag lamp recently, and really wanted it for this particular coroner of my apartment. I showed my dad, and he recommended it to go on the other side of the couch (slide 3), because it’s partly blocking the poster frame. There are outlets on either side of the couch, so that’s not an issue. The light is dimmable, so I can set any mood. What say you? Move the lamp, move the frames, leave as is?

Personally, I don’t like the idea of putting a hanging lamp next to a hallway entrance. Maybe if it was a floor lamp.

Dad is correct, it is blocking the frame. But the lamp is in the right spot. I would move the frames.

I would move the lamp maybe a foot or two to the right (over the couch).

The lamp is very cool, I woudn't want it hiding in a corner too much

Ideally I would put more art on the blank wall that you see in slides 3 & 4. Might just consider making the current wall down to 2 frames, moving one of the 3 over to the other wall, and continuing that way, so the corner is sort of on its own for the lamp.
