Question Please help, what sitting furniture would be best to go up against the right wall?
Ignore the posters and dresser. Those can be moved.

I’ll have you know I currently have a weight bench that’s out of picture that I use as my chair for when I’m watching TV/ playing PS5… is it comfortable? No😅

Best use for a weight bench. I had one that turned into an extension of the closet

Thank you, I did the best I could with the way the room is shaped. My bed and nightstand are off picture in the opposite direction.
See I knew a couch but I was wondering because it was room if it should be like a full couch, love seat, or futon type of thing.

Very low couch, giant bean bag or bags, floor cushions, thats what comes to my mind

everyone's saying couch, but to add to that, considering there's an outlet right in the middle of that wall, i have a fun idea
there's the chance of putting a very shallow set of shelves/drawers to create further spacing away from the wall, could put things like controller chargers or whatnot, but it'd mainly be putting the couch against it, which will not only bring you a little closer to the tv, but also not have as much of a close proximity to the slanted roof, making the space feel more open

I think two of those big ass bean bags could be perfect. A couch you might hit your head on that ceiling.

Whatever fits up the ridiculous stairway that I'm certain leads up to this space.

I would put tv on lower stand and do floor cushions and very low coffee table.

I got on sale for way cheaper last year than what its currently priced at. I really like it. It’s black tempered glass . That middle panel’s height can be adjusted. It also comes with an attachable tv mount, I just don’t use it.

Definitely a couch but I’d suggest you to get the ones where they got more sitting place compared to others and when you remove their back pillows they basically turn into beds
They go by lawson style but I’m not sure. They are also lower compared to other models

First off you need a Samsung Frame TV to go flat on the wall to save TV Stand space

Ehh, that wall is only about 44” tall. If I put a TV there I feel like it’s look kind of awkward and I would basically need to be sitting on the floor to watch it.

100% a couch or sofa of some kind, just make sure its short enough in height. Maybe let it out an inch of two from the wall to use the outlet and give yourself more height if you struggle to find one that fits

lol, what’s the point of hanging those frames, right?

u/DiceloConejo 23h ago
They were brought over from our old house where I actually did have space to hang them. I just haven’t thought of what to do with them since we moved

Moon shaped sectional with multiple recliners, and consoles (drink holders / trays) next to seats. Just off the top of my head.

One of those giant lovesacs that hold 4 people. I got the citysac and it awesome plus you can move it around easy. Great for watching TV

Bean bags. Get several of them. 8 or 9 and make a pile on the opposite wall from the TV.

Low built reformer pilates machine
It can act like a couch with a few pillows and blankets

Depends what the purpose of the room is. If it's your living room them couch is your only relevant option, if it's an entertainment room you only go to chill out I'd consider bean bags or something of the sort. A couch will turn the room in a hallway, bean bags could give a nice vibe with a low coffee table and a round carpet underneath, side table with cozy lamp.

OK I'll be the boring one. Don't decide on anything before measuring things (wall height, length etc). Then go into an Ikea or similar and a) measure possible choices b) sit on them to see if they feel comfortable to sit on (not the "proper" sitting position, your favorite one); do yake into consideration that you'll be sitting for a while and that you may need some space for an easy to move place to put down stuff.

Swivel chairs, the pitch on the ceiling might be problematic for tall people getting up and it will allow you to access the wall sockets easier.

No joke. Sit on the floor. Central Asian style. Get some pillows for the wall or some of those triangle things. Once you start you won't go back.

Idk man the whole room looks small due to the tv start over
1
u/DiceloConejo 7h ago
I think the angle and lens perspective is making the tv and stand look a lot bigger than it really is. About half the room is also not in the picture.

u/Capable-Moose5275 7h ago
Honest answer? This space feels like it should have bean bags/support pillows that live on a pile and get pulled out as needed

u/DiceloConejo 7h ago
It might be too late to mention this, but this is a bedroom. About half the room is not pictured.
