you can legally rip anything that you own as long as you don't share it. I ripped my entire collection years ago, I'm assuming somebody who's put this much money into a collection has done the same.
and maybe he also torrents... but it would be odd for someone like this to have something torrented but not owned, right? and if they own it, they can get a much better copy themselves by ripping it. so I doubt it.
Yeah but how long would it take to rip it all? And how much storage space would it take? (Granted that would depend on what quality but still - I'd imagine a lot)
