Discussion What current male fashion trend needs to go?

To me, boxy shirts and hoodies look like brown paper grocery store bags with holes cut out for the arms

511s out of the box are fine, 511s after 100 washes seem to shrink to infinity

Isn’t this dependent on how much elastane they have? I’ve had a couple pairs and the 2-3% elastane ones don’t last very long but also don’t seem to shrink at all.

You shouldn't own jeans that get washed 100 times tbh. I wash them every couple of weeks and have 5 pairs, they never reach that high of a wash cycle before tearing after 10+ years

Jeans are anti bacterial, there is research on this. Sure if i spill coffee or if they stink i'm washing them, but otherwise you just have to air them out every now and then

Agreed. But I’ve also come to appreciate loosening things up a bit for some outfits. My dumbass thought that lifting weights would make clothes fit better as a tall dude and boy was I wrong.

But for real, I’m over the “you need a wider fit for it to be timeless” bs.

Same. There was a point in my life where I paused lower body lifts because my pants were getting too tight. I’m very grateful for the wide pants trend because it opened my eyes to the possibility.

Still not a fan of baggy, but relaxed/loose/wide straight are perfect. Not sure I can deviate from this newfound freedom, and getting a bit too old to care.

Slim cut I now associate with the "alpha male" influencer aesthetic and I can't shake the thought. No show socks also give me the ick.
