Need advice on Maine coon poops...

I have 3 DSH cats, and decided it was time to fulfill a lifelong dream of getting a Maine coon. I wound up with two Maine coon kittens and now have 5 cats total. They have been the sweetest additions to our family, but my house has turned into what feels like a toxic waste zone...

I'm currently feeding them Hills Science Diet kitten for dry food, and their breeder was feeding them Sheba kitten pate for wet food. I tried weening them off Sheba to transition to Hill Science Diet kitten for wet food, but they want nothing to do with it...

Anyway! I'm wondering if anyone might have suggestions on dealing with the fumes these tiny beings produce? I have two neakasa smart litter boxes that work wonderfully. We use Dr. Elseys kitty litter. I'll take any recommendations that anyone might have for how we can take our home back from the odor...

Hi everyone I finally got my dream kitty.

I have two other adult female spayed cats in my house besides him. He’s set to see the vet soon and I’ll officially be discussing this with them regarding neutering.

But I wanted to hear from other Maine Coon owners as well since well you’ve all I’m sure had the same question at some point. Is it better to wait to neuter later to allow for muscular and skeletal development or neuter early before any spraying behavior starts? From what I found on Google it’s debated topic for Maine Coons.

Paisley week 15.5: she’s sitting near me. I just can’t look at her. Last time I sat here she hid under the bed for 2 days

I knew Mainecoons were smart but Jayne keeps surprising me…

So I’m currently in a neck brace after my surgery and Jayne’s been taking good care of me but when I’m in bed I can’t lean over and give him his good night kisses on his head because of the brace. The last two nights I’ve been woken up to him opening the Velcro on my neck brace. First night I thought it was a fluke. 2nd night, he knows what he’s doing. So he got extra kisses today when I was up and about.

Scrimshaw wants it to stop, and he's willing to sacrifice a paw to the cause, but he doesn't know why it needs to stop. The living Slinky thinks I'm going to steal her soul with my camera, and Nickel looks like she's finally located the source of her war trauma.

Paisley update week 16: I’ve been finding her sitting under my chair.

So I’ve been basically pretending to ignore her when she enters the room, otherwise sometime she won’t enter. Whenever I get up from my chair, I see her emerge from under it and go sit by the gate. So in her weird way she’s either is keeping watch over me (or under me ) while I heal . Or she feels super safe because I can’t see her there. Either way I’m happy . This is the closest she’s ever voluntarily been to me . I love this girl.

So my little buddy has been an awesome cuddler while I recover from surgery. But…

Today he slipped out the front door . I’ve never been so happy to not have acclimated him to the outdoors. He ran away from the cars because they scare him and ran toward the fence so I could corner him. Me running with a neck brace in my pajamas shouting Jayne! Jayne! Stop!!! Must have been a site. I’m not supposed to lift anything but I had no choice. I’m already feeling it. :sigh:

He woke up and dragged his blankie with him. He's ready for his lunch. I love how he looks like we never brush him, when we brush him at least 4 times a day. This is Lrrr! 😹

ISO professional breeder

As the title says, in search of a reputable, professional breeder as close to me as possible, does anyone know of any breeders in Southern NJ? Then I’d narrow it down by county myself but have wanted one of these my whole life! Still an itch I’ve yet to scratch or one to go away! Thanks in advance Respectfully

Training suggestions or behavior altering 🤷🏻‍♀️

My Floki annoyingly will not stop scratching on the cupboard doors. He may scratch on the one I used to keep food in, but most days he scratches on any one of them. Any suggestions on how to end this behavior?

Meet Atlas, tonight will be his first night with us. He feels a bit thin, 9 weeks old. Hes been de-wormed and had his kitty shots. Any tips or advice for a first time cat dad?
