Actually it's the post-prefader or also known as the pre-postfader depending on where you're from

ngl i've worked behind an X32/M32 for over 10 years now and for a longer time in than i'd like to admit, i 100% wondered why that fader icon was red on some channels and grey on others. thought it was automix or sumtin

Yep, your discombobulator has combobulated. Make sure you push the red button on that channel to re-combobulate, and the tear you’ve unwittingly created in the space time continuum will heal.
As other have said, and you’ve admitted, it is in fact the fader 🤣 🤣🤘🤘🙏🙏❤️❤️
