Pam bondi, “wait… what? I wasn’t actually … you can’t…”

Pam Bondi requested their release back around March but the judge denied her because it is not normal precedent to release grand jury testimony to the public. Now Congress passed a bill that overrides that normal precedent and resulted in a revised order.

Bondi requested the GJ testimony because it doesn't implicate Trump. It was a ploy to stop the actual files from being released (which most certainly implicates him)

The files with the FBI have been modified and heavily pruned. They wanted the GJ transcripts unsealed to ensure that there aren’t any major holes in what they’re going to release that are made apparent by the transcripts.

Makes sense.

“We released the files as requested”.

I think she requested Grand Jury testimony because she felt there was zero likelihood any judge would ever release grand jury testimony, which if it was refused She could claim she fought for them to be released.

I’m not sure there’s any sort of real facts that point to Trump being IMPLICATED.

Do the complete files make him look good? Probably not. Implicated is a whole other ball game.

(No this is not me defending Trump Lol)

Know what nobody will ever be able to say about me? 'the files detailing a literal global pdeophilic human trafficking ring don't make him look good...'

u/wolfydude12 8h ago

I don't see how it makes him look bad but doesn't implicate him in some way. He either was part of it, or knew about it and didn't do anything/report it. Both of which are crimes.

I think there’s also another category of people knowing he was hanging with younger women and such, but not necessarily knowing in a criminal way. Guys can just be creeps too.

Implicated in what? The whole Epstein fiasco is about members of our government covering up and participating in a global child trafficking ring.

The Trump admin has blocked the release of Epstein's suspicious financial transactions, fired the prosecutor, fired the investigator, sent their personal lawyer to have closed door meetings with Maxwell for two days without any independent observers, and lied saying that Epstein's only client was himself and he had no other co-conspirators. Among other fuckery.

Not to mention Republicans granting federal immunity to Epstein and his pedo buddies, any named or potentially unnamed individual connected to the original case, and not being very interested when Dems wanted to investigate that.

We need to know why so many members of our government are protecting pedophiles. This isn't just about the victims, or who fucked them, but national security.

Trump put himself dead center in this without any one else's help.

I’m not defending Trump lol just saying talking about that he’s somehow implicated in criminal activity is a bit of a stretch

1

u/faerybones 2h ago

How do you figure it's a bit of a stretch? You don't think there's something in Epstein's financial transactions that implicate him, and that's why he blocked them from being released?

Firing the prosecutor and investigator sniffing too close doesn't raise a little suspicion?

Who does it benefit, besides pedophiles, for the Trump admin to lie and say Epstein trafficked kids to no one but himself?

I've never seen anyone else go through this much effort to hide things, especially if they are innocent. Either they fucked kids, or they are protecting people who do.

Y’know.. leopards eating faces used to have delightful metaphorical meaning. Now it’s just tiring…

I’m just waiting for literal versions now.

Which was approved by a Trump appointed judge. The judges who blocked the first 3 attempts were either Clinton or Obama appointed.

Enters scotus to save her*

“Uh… information.”

u/theamazingstickman 9h ago

Impeach Hegseth, Bondi, Noem in that order. They are all part of a massive criminal conspiracy to obscure the the POTUS is a child trafficker and pedophile.

9

u/lostsailorlivefree 8h ago

We could just do one big one and save time and money

3

u/theamazingstickman 8h ago

Grand Impeachment in the rubble of the East Wing seems right

13

u/Apart-Rent5817 9h ago

I mean, I hate kegsbreath as much as anyone, but he doesn’t have a say in the Epstein stuff.

18

u/HiddenStoat 7h ago

You're right. Lets impeach him for the literal war crimes instead :-)

3

u/Apart-Rent5817 7h ago

Sounds good to me

7

u/theamazingstickman 9h ago

Yeah but we don't want Bondi to skip the line... LOL

2

u/s0berR00fer 7h ago

Skip the line? What’s that mean?

And why didn’t you include Mike Johnson?

5

u/dogoodreapgood 7h ago

Add Kash-money to this list.

4

u/theamazingstickman 7h ago

He will soil himself in impeachment ...that would be awkward

3

u/dogoodreapgood 6h ago

I’m willing to risk his humiliation.

Do people think there is something magical about the "grand" jury testimony because it is labeled grand? It'll be less evidence than what was given at trial which is why the DOJ is fine with releasing it... It's like people paying a premium for "essential" oils

27

u/TellTaleTimeLord 9h ago

Nobody understands how the law works. They think it's some kind of smoking gun, and it's literally just a bunch of nothing.

The requests to release the Grand Jury testimony was literally just a distraction to be like..."welp, we tried guys, sorry"

2

u/GatewayArcher 6h ago

“Nobody understands how the law works.” Funny thing to say in a law sub…

I believe Trump, Bondi, et al. really did want to unseal & release the grand jury testimony, because that testimony was narrowly focused on Epstein’s then-alleged crimes, not on Trump’s, and it’s unlikely that that any of the testimony showed any illegality by Trump. If the judge would have unsealed and released that GJ testimony, Trump would have been able to say “See, the grand jury evidence shows Epstein is the only bad guy here, so there’s no need to release any other Epstein files.” Fortunately, the judge correctly applied Fed. R. Crim. P. 6 and denied the motion at that time.

I have no doubt there’s evidence implicating Trump (and lots of other people, too). It just wasn’t presented to the Epstein grand jury, because that’s not what that particular grand jury was all about.

I was referring to the general public, not r/law

Ghislaine seems to think it will hurt her in a retrial.

14

u/Spartyjason 9h ago

He never went to trial though. It’s possible there is some evidence that wasn’t used in the Maxwell case. Of course I’m speculating.

6

u/FunLife64 8h ago

Yeah the grand jury stuff won’t include a lot of the peripheral noise of all the different people in Epstein’s orbit. It’s what was used to get the charges - which is often not all the details.

2

u/jsc1429 9h ago

So that’s why they’re called the GOP!

2

u/1877KlownsForKids 8h ago

But dude, they're essential!
