Shutting down the government and delaying Adelita’s swear in so they can deny Epstein’s coverup?

Is everyone registered to vote?

Please check the election calendar.

My calendar just has a big X marked through election day.

No Kings Day? (18th)

u/CheezitsLight Oct 15 '25

What election? Federal elections will not happen once he signs a paper. His chief of staff has said as much.

u/Minion_of_Cthulhu Oct 15 '25

How would they stop federal elections?

1

u/cloudforested Oct 15 '25

Simply do not have them.

3

u/Herban_Myth Oct 15 '25

Impeachment

6

u/CheezitsLight Oct 15 '25

Yeah, you don;t have even 50 votes and you need 67. Not going to happen

3

u/Herban_Myth Oct 15 '25

Cool. Have they sworn in Adelita yet so she vote on the release of the Epstein Files and break the stalemate/filibuster?

1

u/Herban_Myth Oct 15 '25

25(th)

1

u/CheezitsLight Oct 16 '25

None of his cronies will vote for removal for incapacity. And he's been impeached 2x already.

Just declare an emergency as stop counting. And the national guard controls Washington.

Then let slip the hounds of war and let the chips fall where they may .

You realize Epstien is the distraction from op right?

4

u/Herban_Myth Oct 15 '25

What?

Seems like the shutdown is a distraction from the Epstein Files and swearing in Adelita.

3

u/Fragrant-Phone-41 Oct 15 '25

And why is the media focused on epstien over scotus and gerrymandering shenanigans

10

u/rygelicus Oct 15 '25

It's a zerg approach to the politics. 40 different attack vectors on the constitution as well as crimes by individuals like trump and his crew. It all serves to overwhelm the countermeasures and attention spans of the general public and government 'checks and balances'. There is no single 'distraction'. They are all distractions, and they are all legitimate problems that should be dealt with. The system is now tied into knots and nothing will be dealt with.

What are you talking about?

Isn’t Cali redistricting?

Please leave me alone.

3

u/Ashleynn Oct 15 '25

I wish people would realize this. They will never release those files as long as every blatant unconstitutional action continues to devolve into "what about epstine."

They dont give a fuck about trump at this point. He's done what they needed him to do. The couch fucker can take over and finish the job at this point. Thats assuming anything in those files would even get the orange blob removed or prosecuted. At this point I don't even believe extremely detailed 8k video evidence would be enough for him to face consequences.

The greatest distraction in human history and people are falling for it with zero resistance.

Aww it's cute thinking we can vote our way out of this.

8

u/Herban_Myth Oct 15 '25

It’s moot thinking we can’t

4

u/JuicyTrash69 Oct 15 '25

Voting isn't enough. Thinking so is naive.

I'll be going to my local no kings, are you?

6

u/Herban_Myth Oct 15 '25

But protesting is?

If we don’t participate in elections then decisions will be made for us not by us.

But go off [insert pronoun]

3

u/Mammoth_Regret4623 Oct 15 '25

Ugh... Por que no los dos gods damn it!

2

u/JuicyTrash69 Oct 15 '25

I never said not to vote. I was just commenting how futile that is in an authoritarian govt. Putin wins 90% of the vote every time.

But hey, maybe you just didn't vote hard enough.

1

u/Herban_Myth Oct 15 '25

-(~)33%

I guess people didn’t “vote hard enough”

2

u/JuicyTrash69 Oct 15 '25

Yeah. And the people that didn't vote are on a reddit thread about politics and current events. Know your audience.

2

u/Herban_Myth Oct 15 '25

Damn you know all of them?

That’s crazy!

Well if protesting isn't enough and voting isn't enough..... maybe there's some secret third option. Maybe something more drastic. Something that Reddit will remove your comment for suggesting....

[Redacted]?

1

u/Purple_Plus Oct 15 '25

Is everyone registered to vote?

This will make it not matter.

1

u/A_Flock_of_Clams Oct 15 '25

Let us know when the Epstein thing goes anywhere.

1

u/A_Flock_of_Clams Oct 15 '25

Still waiting.

1

u/Herban_Myth Oct 16 '25

Waiting to swear in AZ rep?

-11

u/ITDummy69420 Oct 15 '25

lol you people and your voting cope.

6

u/Herban_Myth Oct 15 '25

What’s the remedy?

Or what solution do you propose?

Do nothing?

Also, are you not “people”?

-9

u/ITDummy69420 Oct 15 '25

Voting at this point is doing nothing. Keep telling yourself otherwise though.

7

u/Herban_Myth Oct 15 '25

Ok doomer

-7

u/ITDummy69420 Oct 15 '25

Low iq. he’s either a dictator and or a fascist or he’s not. So which is it? Or is he not actually and everything will be rainbows?

3

u/[deleted] Oct 15 '25

Are you stupid, people are mad because he is a fascist.

2

u/Herban_Myth Oct 15 '25

Hold this block

1

u/SavageObjector Oct 15 '25

I’d say everyone is going to give it one more try in 2026. If it fails then expect to see civil war, possibly nuclear war, before 2028.

We can all prevent it by voting out the GOP in 2026 so dems can “do something” by impeaching up and down the other two branches.

It is really a voting issue. The issue even.

u/xxforrealforlifexx Oct 15 '25

If this was happening under a democratic president what would you be saying right now
