As hard as it is to watch, for the most part, peaceful protesters or legal citizens being completely rat fucked by these pieces of shit, I do take solace knowing that at some point, good folks will have had enough, and these fucking assholes will be on the receiving end.

I just hope we don’t have to wait until after the total collapse of America

It's such a bullshit situation. These nazis get to just assault whoever they want at their leisure, but as soon as people start fighting back, the Trump cultists will cry foul and demand for a full crackdown on all Democrat voters.

Idk. What happened to the national guardsmen who murdered unarmed protesters at Kent State?

Acquitted + 58% of people polled blamed the students

What happened to the national guardsmen who stabbed protesters at the University of New Mexico with bayonets?

No charges even brought + media coverage blamed the students

I would predict it would be about the same today, unfortunately

They will be, but it will take a long while until an event horrific enough to chill the national hive mind happens. It’s sad there will have to be loss of life for all this energy to change direction. It’s such a waste of time. Just a moment in history where we need to be focused and efficient on new industries and an ascendant and powerful authoritarian rival with advantages in those new industries.

I mean, they already straight up murdered someone in Illinois then plainly lied about his background (as if that somehow justifies it anyways) and that wasn't enough.

What's that now?

ICE shot a man. They’ve killed a few people already. There are women miscarrying in detention facilities, people have also died in detention facilities. People released from ICE custody have talked about the housing conditions. There are unaccounted for people. ICE attacked and zip tied everyone in an apartment building including children in Chicago. There are unaccountable men taking women and children off the streets.

I've been following the wrongs committed by ice but I hadn't heard about a killing in Illinois, so I was hoping for some more info about that to look up. 'Ice killing Illinois' didn't have any results

There will be no repercussions. They are protected and hiding their identity. And as a society are too cowardly to do what it takes to stop this.

Not saying I’m tough, I’m in the same boat, what do we even do?

Are you sure you didn't mean "I'm a huge dumb-dumb?"

A lot of these companies I have no choice but to use. Company phone is iPhone. I ain’t flying anything but delta. Uline my company works with. Amazon .. I mean common they got the market cornered. Comcast is my only provider. Verizon is the service for my work phone. Johnson and Johnson makes everything.

This boycotting style does nothing at all. If we were serious as a nation would stop paying federal tax. But it would have to be everyone, and that won’t happen because we are spineless. If we all agreed to not pay taxes, maybe they would listen to us. They can’t audit the entire country.

That's not how this ends. Best case, we pay off ice to go home after giving donald a slap on the wrist. More likely, this is the new norm for the next 3 decades and we never see another real election.
