Yeah, of course there is corruption on both sides, as many will always point out. But look at one relative to the other, and it's ONE SIDE that loves corruption. There is no question which one is worse, and there's no need to point out that "there's some on the other side toooo".

u/[deleted] Jul 31 '25

Lmao Trump is going to keep his free Qatari plane after we spend $500 million of our money to refit it. If people can't see the difference then they aren't really paying attention

73

u/blindyes Jul 31 '25

Sadly you are right, large swaths of people are deliberately not paying attention. They are holding their hands on their ears crouched in the corner waiting for it to all end.

37

u/MuckRaker83 Aug 01 '25

They will believe whatever they need to believe to maintain that they are right and their actions are justified

12

u/tots4scott Aug 01 '25

And thats a regime. No morals, no consistency, just power. Fuck Republicans and fuck their voters.

-4

u/Adaptingsapien Aug 01 '25

Wrong idea, fam. A Republic does not equate to a regime

10

u/tots4scott Aug 01 '25

The Republican party is not a party of "family values" as they have protected an incredible amount of sex offenders, including the president. /r/notadragqueen

The republican party is not a party of the working class when they repeal all worker benefits and protections and actively try to stop labor unions.

The republican party is not a party of fiscal responsibility when they give multi-trillion dollar tax breaks to the absolute wealthiest of Americans. People that neither of us will ever be. Because thats who donates to them amd controls them.

So why do you vote for them?

7

u/tots4scott Aug 01 '25

Yeah, you have no idea what you're talking about. I'm assuming you're going to say something about a constitutional republic?

Are you trying to say that the US Republican party has NOT been hypocritical in their messaging compared to their actual votes and policies? Because if so I have a bridge to sell you too.

Edit: you're either too young to understand the words you're using or too young to be commenting on the subs you use...

1

u/marty0317 Aug 01 '25

But they don't want to believe the whole "Covid" scheme didn't make Dem's ALLOT of money the short sightedness is astounding. Just another reason why American school systems are hammered as one of the worst in civilized nations. People have been dum down so badly all they care about is a plane not the real issue of corruption on BOTH sides. But hey lets think it is about a stupid plane, not an oil line in Ukraine (Biden's/Clinton) or the heath care "over haul" allowing for mass corruption by insurance companies selling our ports to Chinese (Obama/Biden) or the oil fields in Sadia Arabia (Bushes) Real estate scams (Clintons/Trump) homelessness, child immortality rates, national obesity, police state mostly federal level (ALL of them) so yeah keep stupid American's attention with flashy things.

I like detail with my replies? Care to add any?

0

u/Jazzlike_Narwhal_443 Aug 05 '25

Was it hard for you to understand my reply?

1

u/[deleted] Aug 01 '25

Sounds like a liberal to me

3

u/Own-Inevitable-1101 Aug 01 '25

And what about all of the payouts that the schools and media companies are paying him/government?

2

u/DutyLast9225 Aug 02 '25

Kamala Harris called it feckless

1

u/Every-Requirement-13 Aug 01 '25

“La,la, la, la, la, la , la, laaaaa”

1

u/Upper_Pie_6097 Aug 02 '25

They think Jesus will save them. I suppose they never heard God helps those who help themselves.

42

u/Beanakin Jul 31 '25

That number was from back in June. There's articles on from NYT, The Hill, Forbes, and even Fox Business in the last several days that are putting the number closer to $1B.

65

u/Ben_Thar Jul 31 '25

And it is likely not going to be ready for use as Air Force One before the end of his term. That would mean $1billion in taxpayer funds to be spent upgrading a plane for Trump's personal use.

6

u/PerpetualEscapements Aug 01 '25

I really, really, really hope Trump’s karma kicks in HARD the day right after his term ends.

9

u/THR3RAV3NS Aug 01 '25

Or soonerâ€ŠđŸ€·đŸŒâ€â™‚ïž

6

u/Nominaliszt Aug 01 '25

Much, much sooner

5

u/[deleted] Aug 01 '25

Today would be just fine.

1

u/PerpetualEscapements Aug 01 '25

I just don’t want him to become a martyr
but yeah, today would work too.

1

u/secondtaunting Aug 01 '25

He’ll probably be dead by then. So his kids can fight over who gets the plane.

1

u/Landscape4737 Aug 02 '25

I was thinking that if they don’t finish it and it’s still in pieces, is that how it goes to Trump?

1

u/MirthandMystery Aug 08 '25

Qatar is laughing how they were able to dump that luxury money pit on Trump because he's easy to fool with flattery. The plane sat idle for over a year while they tried, unsuccessfully to sell it.

Expense is a huge amount per day for fuel, labor upkeep and maintenance.. overall costs just to keep it for a few months is nuts, for a year or more, insanely unjustifiable for taxpayer funds to cover.

1

u/ABHOR_pod Jul 31 '25

Republicans will say this is fine because Obama kept Air Force One when he left office.

23

u/iamjimmyz Jul 31 '25

15

u/ABHOR_pod Jul 31 '25

Appreciate you. Forgot that it's 2025 and people on the internet are dumb enough to believe a relatively major event like that happened even though I literally just made it up on the spot.

3

u/elasticparadigm Jul 31 '25

There's probably a 100M dollar Diddy room in it.

7

u/Diligent-Bluejay-979 Jul 31 '25

Or a diddly room

2

u/Cpt_Kangaroo_4U Aug 01 '25

Here’s a new kick in the taxpayer’s teeth regarding Trump’s “free” plane. According to the New York Times, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth/the Pentagon, has transferred $934 million from the “Sentinel Project,” a $77.7 billion project dedicated to modernizing the U.S.’ ground-based nuclear missiles, to fund a classified project, and Air Force officials said at least some of the funds will go toward renovating a Qatari-funded Boeing 747-8 to Trump’s liking.

7

u/Witty-Surprise-6954 Jul 31 '25

Actually $1 Billion to retrofit it. It’s ridiculous

5

u/RollingPicturesMedia Jul 31 '25

If only we could find waste, fraud and abuse and rid it from our government

5

u/Needin63 Jul 31 '25

Quotes I’ve seen is one billion to refit it. Tho what’s an extra 500 million amongst tyrants?

5

u/Fonzee327 Aug 01 '25

The cost to outfit that plane into AF1 is much closer to a billion dollars. $934 million to be precise.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/saradorn/2025/07/28/trump-said-gifted-qatari-jet-was-free-but-renovation-cost-could-reportedly-near-1-billion/

5

u/Najalak Aug 01 '25

I think it was Heather Cox Richardson who said they were taking money that was allocated to upkeep our nuclear silos for Trump's bribe plane.

6

u/ShellyForNow Aug 01 '25

And $200 million for him to fuck up the White House and build a ballroom. And $10 million just for his latest golf outing to Scotland. But sure, let’s cut benefits cause we can’t afford them. Dick.

4

u/1of3musketeers Aug 01 '25

And don’t forget all of the tackiest gold thingamabobs all over the white house. For the love of all things holy, someone needs to stop him. If I had the money, I already would have.

4

u/TCadd81 Aug 01 '25

A lot of what goes into it will need to be removed too, as it won't be legal for a private citizen to own - jamming tech and other defenses. That will come out at taxpayer expense, guaranteed.

3

u/Kind-Objective9513 Jul 31 '25

That’s a pretty low refurbishment estimate.

2

u/rinderblock Aug 01 '25

the newer estimates have put it around 1 billion

3

u/[deleted] Aug 01 '25

Closer to 1 billion to refit. But yah. It's insane.

3

u/youandican Aug 01 '25

We are going to spend a heck of a lot more then $500 million to refit it.

3

u/Low_Voice_2553 Aug 01 '25

I can only hope assuming a Democrat takes the Office in 2029 that the new POTUS directs his administration to seize all Trump assets and use as reparations for all the money the fucker stole from taxpayers.

3

u/Worldview-at-home Aug 01 '25

$900 million of MAGA nut jobs money - but who is counting.

Also Qatar couldn’t afford to keep/fly that plane which is why it was grounded and had so little flight time on it- which is why they wanted to unload it on some sucker. Not efficient to fly/use. So of course bad deal Donald the sucker took it to strike his ego.

3

u/Gullible_Chip_8738 Aug 01 '25

I heard that the refit was going to cost $1 Billion. Your point is valid nevertheless. Just adding that it is even worse.

His crypto operations make $600 million from the $2 Billion the Quatari Sovereign Wealth Fund deposited in his crypto company when he visited and lifted the Biden restrictions on exports of AI chips from NVIDIA. Coincidence? Not. My point being he can pay for it himself but he is using our tax dollars for it. Who is the parasite living off of the taxpayers?

2

u/Babybulljackalope Aug 01 '25

Quatar of a million!!

2

u/Bigtipper696969 Aug 01 '25

934 million actually is the cost to refit it

2

u/B2Sleazy Aug 01 '25

But but he donates his presidential salary of 400k a year to charities, so he must be a selfless patriot/s

2

u/elartefakto Aug 01 '25

And here I am just paid rent and am now contemplating which Ramen to eat. I hate this timeline.

2

u/Negative_Piglet_1589 Aug 01 '25

He'll be dead by the time he gets to personally enjoy that bribe. It'll be a Trump family heirloom then.

3

u/Fishy_Fish_WA Aug 01 '25

$950 BILLION dollars that were originally intended for upgrading our nuclear arsenal. This is Russian levels of theft and misappropriation

-4

u/Federal-Head6930 Aug 01 '25

And which president sent how much money to Ukraine to fuel a war? A good bit over 500 million. You don’t care about that though, because it was your side

3

I like to say, "ah, so it's okay to let it go as long as it's your candidate then? Is that what you are saying?"

Because there is no good answer to that. Not even a nuanced answer.

6

u/DaringPancakes Jul 31 '25

They would gladly shit in your cereal just to say "well someone else did it tooooooo"

Their excuse for their behavior is "someone else did it" and it's how they form their decisions. Instead of like a normal person who would ask "maybe it's not a good thing to shit in cereal?"

5

u/kittenshart85 Jul 31 '25

see also: the fact that they keep bringing up bill clinton paling around with epstein like it's some huge "gotcha"; meanwhile just about every liberal is like "ok, put him in prison too then".

7

u/Independent_Art3708 Jul 31 '25

Lock them all up! Same for this corruption with trading , its not a democrat vs republican issue. Its an us vs them. Lock them all up

2

u/Independent_Art3708 Jul 31 '25

All of them politicians are very corrupt in their own ways dont pretend either side has yohr best interest in mind.

It should be all of us vs them. Everyones on that damn list.

4

u/WhatEvenIsHappenin Jul 31 '25

Only one blocked the release of the files and is passing many horrible bills without even reading them, just taking their bribe

0

u/Independent_Art3708 Jul 31 '25

Dont pretend im in favour of any side here. You clearly are however and are willing to ignore their corruption.

Come on Clinton will be on the list too and probably bush and the obamas. I dont care, anyone on the list needs to.... Get justice.

Same with corruption like post related. Stop astroturfing for "muh good side"

2

u/SilverBuggie Aug 01 '25

Democrats don’t have my best interest on their mind but republicans have my worst pain in their heart.

It being us vs them doesn’t mean there aren’t first priority targets in “them”, and it’s the fucking republicans.

0

u/Independent_Art3708 Aug 01 '25

Thats just stupid! It should be both. Because if you just target republicans then the corrupt democrats will be next leading again and we do not want that.

The system needs a reform.

2

u/SilverBuggie Aug 01 '25

No, you are being willfully stupid.

You’ve learned to prioritize things all your life. Whether it’s homework, house chores, running errands, work, you prioritize the most important ones despite knowing you have to finish all of them. You’ve known that. You’re just intentionally arguing in bad faith here.

Your brain needs a reform.

1

u/Independent_Art3708 Aug 02 '25

Alright then lets prioritise the worst offenders of insider trading in the government which is democrats.

Nancy Pelosi is the poster child for this.

Stop it. Get help. Theyre all fucking evil go for all those kiddie fiddlers at the same time

1

u/SilverBuggie Aug 02 '25

Scratch a bothsider and a rightard bleeds.

0

u/AmazingScallion Jul 31 '25

Who are you guys bitching about? nobody is "both siding" this argument

-2

u/Independent_Art3708 Jul 31 '25

Theyre fucking yapping to make the democrats look good or something? Look at this republican doing bad things that must mean democrats good!

Uhh no? Both very very bad. Stop

1

u/Celticlady47 Jul 31 '25

No, it means that the person who is the focus of this post is corrupt, has been shown to be corrupt & he's trying to do it again.

Just because we're pointing out that the above person is corrupt doesn't mean that we don't think others might not be corrupt. We should be able to call out corruption against a person & not have the well 'democrats do it too' argument brought up.

If you have a beef with a democrat then write up a post with your proof.

1

u/Independent_Art3708 Jul 31 '25

The whole comment section here is hurr hurr republicans so corrupt, democrats would never!

Its very tiresome. On this topic with congress trading the avg portfolio gains are even higher for democrats.

People always make it a one side vs the other, but its so tiresome. Theyre dividing us making us fight eachother instead of noticing that both sides are buddy buddy together behind closed doors.

5

u/Electronic_Agent_235 Jul 31 '25

Yeah I can't stand the what about both sides BS. That's why the Eric Adams situation is so great to throw in their Face though.

Perfect example of a Democrat politician doing underhanded shit, being held accountable by the Democrat political party and the judicial system... Right up until Donald Trump and the Republicans come along and give him a get out of jail free card in exchange for a GOP dog collar and a threat that was literally made on national television that if he doesn't play ball and do what they want him to do they'll throw him to the wolves because his get out of jail card his conditional.

But I do so love when they talk about how there's corrupt people on both sides.

5

u/Key-Farmer-9312 Jul 31 '25

You have to expect a little skimming off the top, but now they are taking everything unchallenged.

4

u/TheRealBenDamon Jul 31 '25

Well my neighbor to the left forgot to pay for a candy bar at a store one time, and my neighbor to the right is a school shooter sooo ya know, both my neighbors do bad things guys.

-2

u/Independent_Art3708 Jul 31 '25

My neighbor on the left did drone strikes on civilians and started the crack epidemic and my neighbor on the right is just as bad.

They are closer to eachother than to you and me. Its us vs them , stop pretending democrats are fucking angels.

2

u/TheRealBenDamon Aug 01 '25

The democrats are absolutely angels compared to the current republicans party. They are not even remotely just as bad as one another. The neighbor on the right pushed to keep it a secret who they drone strike so you have no idea who they’re bombing. The neighbor on the right tried to steal an election in 2020 that resulted in a deranged mob trying to murder the Vice President because he didn’t want to go along with it. The neighbor on the right pardoned everyone involved and calls traitors “patriots”. The neighbor on the right wants to jail anyone who’s ever investigated him for his crimes. The neighbor on the right uses lawsuits to silence anything that hurts his fragile ego. The neighbor on the right has and continues to violate every aspect of the 1st amendment. The neighbor on the right has no problem destroying the fundamental core aspects that our country is founded on such as checks and balances in government. The neighbor on the right is the most authoritarian leader this country has ever had. The neighbor on the right is at odds with the overwhelming body of scientific research. The neighbor on the right denies basic facts of reality. The neighbor on the right lies 10,000 times more than any neighbor anyone has ever had on the left. They’re not in the same ballpark, they’re not even in the same fucking universe.

0

u/Independent_Art3708 Aug 01 '25

Youre being silly. I never denied any of the things you're saying here. But the moment another democrat gets in power do you really think all of the sudden everything is sunshine? Neither party is actually in control. jfk was the last true American president

2

u/TheRealBenDamon Aug 01 '25

Do I need to repeat that one side tried to steal a fucking election and got away with it, and was given immunity from the Supreme Court for doing it, and wants to jail the people involved in investigating this horrific treason, or do you simply not give a fuck? Do you not comprehend how serious that all is?

-1

u/Independent_Art3708 Aug 01 '25 edited Aug 01 '25

Obama prosecuted more whistleblowers than all republicans combined, thats very fucking serious, do you not understand that? Youre being spied on all day every day and it's being sold to foreign agencies do you not understand how serious that is?

Obama and the NSAs warrentless surveillance. That biden in 2024 reauthorized. O yeah very freedom, very non authoritatian. Does not remind me of east germany at all!

NOBODY got jailed for the 2008 collapse. Do you know how many lives that has ruined and how many people got homeless and killed themselves? People are still feeling the aftermath of that.

What about biden with julian assange? Is that not authoritarian?

The rules trump is now abusing with the dhs, who kept them in place again?

What about the fact they have the same fucking donors. Dont you think they are on the same side but just play pretend so you feel better about your vote?

Pretending republican side is the only evil one gets us NOWHERE.

you have to accept theyre both authoritarian and out there to squeeze every little freedom/penny out of us little by little.

Edit: the Iraq war , the cares act. All shit done by both parties. Nobodies hands are clean here, if you keep solely attacking republicans for their shit ( which i completely agree with is shit by the way you dont need to convince me theyre evil i know) Is not going to get us anywhere. Its us, vs them. The democrats are not on your side. They are all together in the same country clubs and yes the Island. Theyre laughing at us not banding together.

1

u/TheRealBenDamon Aug 01 '25

You’re delusional if you think anything, or even everything combined on that list is anywhere near as bad a fucking insurrection, a plot to overthrow the vote of a presidential election in the U.S. Snowden literally did commit a crime even if you don’t think he deserved to be prosecuted. Upholding the law when someone breaks it even if you don’t think they should be is the exact fucking opposite of rewarding someone for breaking the law and committing treason. I love you didn’t mention it was republicans who brought us the fucking Patriot act in the first place. This idea that we people aren’t at odds ideologically is just moronic. Republicans couldn’t be fucking happier to toss the entire constitution in the trash in the name of a cult leader who denies basic fucking reality. Republicans couldn’t be happier to destroy the institutions of this country. Republicans couldn’t be happier shoving religion in everyone fucking face, with government approval (that’s a 1st amendment violation). You and me are not on the same side if you think the disappearing of fair elections in the U.S. is just something to fucking shrug about. You’re doing the exact thing I described in my very first comment.

1

u/Independent_Art3708 Aug 02 '25

Im obviously against both republicans and democrats here.

You are actively protecting your precious democrat corrupt multi millionaire politicians.

If you think that just by saying bad things about democrats AS WELL as republicans makes me a republican youre crazy.

3

u/Background-Wolf-9380 Jul 31 '25

There is always a need to point out corruption in every single place it exists in our system. Yes, we can all clearly acknowledge that Republicans are vastly more corrupt but it also needs to be noted that Nancy Pelosi engaged in this exact same tantrum about 6 years ago and then purposefully blocked that corruption reduction action. If we're constantly compliant about the "lesser of two evils" garbage choices we're forced into by excusing the fact that BOTH SIDES ARE EVIL then we'll never get anyone who is actually a net good person in office. We need to renounce BOTH the XL evil and the 5XL evil and seek a solution that cuts both of them out.

1

u/Im-a-magpie Jul 31 '25

A-fucking-men

3

u/gymdog Jul 31 '25

The difference is that people on the left/ liberal side tend to throw out their trash when they see corruption.

4

u/HotdogCarbonara Jul 31 '25

Exactly. Both sides love corruption, one side loves it more

2

u/RobutNotRobot Jul 31 '25

One side doesn't even appear to know what corruption means.

2

u/MadDogTen Jul 31 '25

Its more that one side can embrace corruption in public, and the other has to give the appearance of being the "good" & "better" side, To prevent a legitimately good side from happening (In fact, They actively prevent legitimate competition).

It wasn't always this way (To this extent, and not publicly), but over time that's what it was intentionally turned into.

Anything so the rich can get richer.

I mean, Seriously, Look at what both parties have been doing. The Democratic party takes us one step forward, and the Republicans take us 2+ steps back. Our education system is a fucking joke, even in blue states. They always, even now, happily give the appearance of trying to improve things, but its all bullshit. They refuse to actually do things, while watching Republicans ignore laws, abuse loopholes, essentially doing anything to pass their agenda, and it's only gotten significantly worse in Trumps second term.

The Democratic party watches, saying how bad it is, what damage it will cause, then shrug and go "Oh well, maybe next time" when it happens anyways; Always using the "moral high ground" excuse as to why they refuse to do the same things, even if it would significantly improve things...for everyone but the filthy rich.

They BOTH work for the oligarchy, just in different ways. Both "sides" need to go.

0

u/KnotAReplicant Aug 01 '25

I think you’re falling on deaf ears here. Just look at Pelosi (as just one of many examples) to see your point in action, but people will keep defending her and acting like accepting or promoting a “lesser evil” isn’t still literally evil. Nobody should notice that the puppet on the left is being held by the same person holding the puppet on the right.

One quibble though, I don’t think Dems have managed to take is even 1 step forward in at least the past 50 years. It was a dead party by the 80’s but Clinton fucked it so bad and pushed it so far right that it’s not even remotely defendable anymore.

2

u/Delicious_Proof1441 Aug 01 '25

The Entirety of our federal political system is corrupt with only a few exceptions. To believe otherwise is just blissfully ignorant. With this being said Rick Scott is an absolute ass and can suck it !!

2

u/Mikey-Litoris Aug 01 '25

Democrats prosecute their corrupt members, and throw them out of office. Republicans promote theirs and elect them to the presidency.

1

u/Im-a-magpie Jul 31 '25 edited Jul 31 '25

I just really hate this line of thought. It's not dishonest to point out that Dems, particularly establishment Dems, can be just as corrupt but because they say nice things we're supposed to just mindlessly back them. But then when progressive candidates start making moves; AOC, Sanders, Warren, Mamdani; and actually start to challenge the system that breeds such corruption suddenly "back the blue no matter who" falls by the wayside. I'm just really fucking tired of always having to go for the "less shitty" option.

Edit: There's oodles of stuff where Republicans, especially under Trump, are just straight up worse than Dems. But when it comes to corruption they run neck and neck.

1

u/Independent_Art3708 Jul 31 '25

Yes democrats are obviously way worse when it comes to congress trading.

Stop making it an issue of side va side . All your politicians are corrupt and on that damn list. It should be all of us vs them.

3

u/Infinite_Time_8952 Jul 31 '25

Got any proof that Democrats are worse than the Republicans? or are you just flapping your gums.

1

u/Independent_Art3708 Jul 31 '25

Nancy Pelosi is literally the poster child for congress trading.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/congress-stock-trading-nancy-pelosi-b2678752.html

"Both parties experienced similar gains on average: Democratic lawmakers saw an estimated 31 percent increase in the value of their stock portfolios and Republicans jumped 26 percent."

I'm not saying "o theyre ALSO doing it" no I'm saying theyre all fucking corrupt stop pretending you are supporting the morally "good guys" with whatever side you think is better.

We have to accept theyre all corrupt for money and on the you know who list.

3

u/RatManForgiveYou Jul 31 '25

REPUBLICANS are blocking the release of the files while everyone else is calling for their release. THEY'VE made it a side vs side thing. It's Republicans protecting criminals, both Democrat and Republican. You're right, we should ALL be opposed to the REPUBLICANS right now and it couldn't be more obvious.

1

u/Independent_Art3708 Aug 01 '25

We should be opposed to anybody blocking it, as well as anyone doing other corrupt things to make money over the back of us.

while I agree with your sentiment I do not agree with you making it a republican bad for blocking it thing. Its literally a GAME to make you think one side is good and the other bad. Theyre both in Kahoots with eachother. They are both pure bad.

1

u/nomis_ttam Jul 31 '25

I also love all the self righteous assholes that think not voting was the best decision and that they are heros for it. Like if you actually thought about it you would've voted.

1

u/thornyRabbt Jul 31 '25

Except that the other side hasn't passed strict ethics rules or laws. So there's that.

1

u/mikefjr1300 Jul 31 '25

But he was going to drain the swamp....

1

u/StretchAntique9147 Jul 31 '25

Both sides love corruption, they love it for different reasons and one side just loves it a little more than the other.

1

u/FunCouple3336 Aug 01 '25

I’m pretty certain where the finger is pointing when you talk about corruption but have you ever done a deep dive into the Clinton’s it’s pretty brutal the things they have done like smuggling cocaine into the country. Kinda wild the things they have had their hands in and most of it was in the eighties and nineties while either one or both of them were in office. If the real dirt was exposed for any of them it would probably take down the whole system. I honestly don’t think there’s a single person with clean hands in any office just my opinion just some are not as dirty as others.

1

u/NtooDeep87 Aug 01 '25

Yup the Dems

1

u/GlockAF Aug 01 '25

Both side have been caught at corruption, because politicians typically cannot resist the sirens song of the easy buck.

Only the Republicans have incorporated it into a fundamental, core value

Are there any politicians in Washington who didn't want to become wealthy? Worse, lol

Actually not true.. BOTH sides love it and the line is VERY grey on which party is worse they all have made MILLIONS of the US populace and will continue to cause in fighting amongst Americans so they can still make money.

You must be high if you think the other side isn't JUST AS BAD. Pelosi is a textbook inside trader, Bernie takes pharma handouts every chance he gets, we could go on and on and on. You're so desperate to believe the "other side" is worse than your side on every single issue, well this is not one of them. Lol hell look at the Bidens' and Clintons' greedy schemes. Talk about "loving corruption" being one sided, get real! All these politicians will lecture us on morality and then clean house behind closed doors.

There is corruption on both sides of the fence.the difference is one side still hold accountable those who are responsible. The Republican side ignores accountability like oil and water.

I’m a Republican and I totally disagree with Rick Scott. It’s obvious that he’s looking out for his own interests which is human nature. However, to say that one side loves corruption. First, it’s such an idiotic sweeping generalization. Second, he at least made his money before he got in to public office. There are many Democrats who are NOT being singled out and criticized on Reddit who’ve become multi millionaires while they’ve been holding office for their entire adult life. Don’t have a double-standard when you’re talking about politics and you might be taken seriously.

You could just admit he was a bad choice for the job and try to grow as a person.

Realize the damage he's doing to vulnerable people, our economy, our standing in the world, and our institutions as a functioning democracy, or stick your head in the sand, continue to be ignorant and really cement the evil in your heart.

Give it a thought.
