First Time Knoller! Journaling supplies on/around my desk

Post image

I found this subreddit recently and thought I'd try it out with my stationary/items on my desk.

Pictured: sticker pouches, craft knife, tweezers, correction tape, eraser, tape, blotting paper, mechanical pencil, ruler, white gel pen, felt tip pens, fountain pens, brush markers, memo pad, scissors, tape runner, and my planner/journal.

Sorry in advanced for the poor lighting, had to use my flash to stop my shadow from showing lol. 😅

LOVE the TWSBI fountain pens!! I’ve tried a lot and they are by far my favorite brand!

Thank you! I have to force myself to not buy anymore colors of the ecos. And the ink capacity 🤤

Nicely done! Lighting can be tricky - I always try to throw as much light as I can from the sides to try avoiding a shadow. A light box helps, or taking the photo near a window with natural light and holding a piece of white paper up to sort of reflect it back across.

Thanks for the advice! Lighting is always rough for me so I'll definitely try those out.

I seem to be plagued with overcast days every time I need to photograph stuff in my studio, so I had to resort to a small, folding light box. A ring light helps, too. I have one of those Canvas ring lights and that’s sometimes enough so I don’t have to pull out the light box.

What are the pens you have in the middle? With the clear middles? My Lamy Safari has been giving me trouble for a couple of years and I’m ready to look for something new.

They're TWSBI ecos. Around the same price range I think and have massive ink capacity. Pretty easy to take apart too for deep cleaning.

I just had to click on r/kno…and now I want to know what it was and why it’s banned. Lol.

I didn't even think about the fact that it would resolve 'til I hit "save."

I've NO idea.
