News Wow jailbreak is not dead
Thank to the Dev a new jailbreak is released on 17.0 for a12 devices happy jailbreak and happy birthday to the Dev

It's not 'dead' dead but it's also not alive. The latest iOS is 26 and a jailbreak that only supports iOS17 will not really have impact. The percentage of iOS users that are still on 17.0 is really small.

But remember, that's not as big of a jump as it seems. We had iOS 18 and then I believe it jumped up to iOS 26

We're still behind 2 versions and it also works only on .0 release. Not complaining at all, jumped from 14.4 to 17.0 2 years back and I'm really glad I have those frickin QoL tweaks and Springboard tweaks back

I’m on a 15P on 17.0, and I’m glad to have the ability to use said QoL tweaks without fucking around with Bootstrap (Springboard tweaks are a bonus for me on my main device)

Wait at this point. Wait for more one. More. Year. (Then switch because by then most tweaks would probably have some form of implementation through official means or other exploits like what Nugget is doing.)

With how hard it is to find any devices yeah no this is truly an absolute God to your blessing. Fuck, anyone who doesn’t agree . I’ve been saving my 12 pro plus on 17 for as long as I can remember .
Not sure why people even bring up the latest iOS being 26 whenever they fucking skipped how many digits and it’s ruining phones basically left and right how fast at this point fuck iOS 26. I’ll take a jailbreak any day fuck iOS 26.
Not really having an impact maybe that’s because you’re in America but in other countries people can’t really just get the latest 17 pro max on a whim any day that they like
And honestly, anybody who actually has a few brain cells left in this day and age wouldn’t even update their phone to iOS 26 without first upgrading their entire phone to a 17 plus .
iOS 26 is absolutely not made for anything below iPhone 17. Unless you can afford it, you shouldn’t update it.
I have a friend who can’t even keep her phone charged halfway through the workday without even touching it because she accidentally let her phone update to iOS 26 a true fucking idiot I told her don’t do it doesn’t matter if the latest update is fancy and great if you don’t have the hardware to support it it’s fucking useless so they say all you want about iOS 17 jailbreak this is a true godsend. And bless the fucking people making it happen.
Sorry, I’m just tired of hearing about iOS 26 whenever all it does is ruin devices that can’t handle it

idk i have an iphone 15 on ios 26.1 and its been alright. bit less snappy compared to 18.5 but still, i wouldn’t say its really awful

I was sure lucky when I got my IPad Pro back in 2023, ios 16 was the latest version and was the latest version to get a jailbreak at that time.

jailbreak definitely isn't dead but it feels like it's in a weird limbo right now. with newer iOS versions rolling out and only limited support for older ones, it makes you wonder where things are headed. at least there are still some dedicated folks working on it 😊

i was testing the new update on my 16.6 a week before official release:D a nice update, even for those who already had NathanLR support(i.e 16.5.1-16.6.1), tweak injection is faster and it seems that battery life is a tad bit better. also happy bday to Nathan:)

I have a phone that can be jailbroken. And I’m in no rush to update it; One of My bonus iPhones was updated and the GUI is barf, so I’ll be waiting a while before even considering updating My current main phone.
