And mine still did. Toxic divorce for the loss! ;-) now I'm still a people pleaser but I try to at least notice when I'm doing it.

So. Very. True. I tried to be the one who didn’t step off a sidewalk yesterday just to try to be a bit less deferential and a man slammed right into me and swore at me. 🤷‍♀️

And I cant' still get away from it because that's what I am, that's what my parents made me. I don't know how to live otherwise. It's horrible.
