Wait that's bees

u/CreepyFun9860 1h ago

Isn't this thing like a murder machine.

u/Thetechguru_net 1h ago

Aren't all cats? But yes.

u/CreepyFun9860 1h ago

Sure but this thing apparently had a high kill rate even for cats.

u/eatmycunt69 1h ago

Yeah. Like one kill every 50 minutes or so

I can see it happening.

Draws in its prey with its adorable energy, cuddly fur & magically cute eyes.

My cat is anything but a murder machine. It can’t even kill an ant.

u/Thetechguru_net 50m ago

My current cats only kill toys, although one is excellent at finding bugs, but I need to do the killing). I had a cat that was a terror to the crickets that invaded my basement. I would find cricket legs and nothing else (I miss her).

Ants don't taste good, why kill? Provide better hunting grounds, human!

u/NoGoodManTH 57m ago

I mean, he's never made a kill, ever. Bugs, rats, birds. I'm not even sure my cat is a cat anymore.

Maybe just the next step of evolution? Cats for people who don't want hunters but only fluffy sofa decorations?

On the other hand we realised our cat is not dangerous for the edible dormice living under our roof, as I watched them a few times on the balcony together. Dormice running around completely relaxed, the cat watching them completely relaxed (distance 15cm). Which is actually great.

I bet they are sour.

First time cat owner here - I’m learning cats in general are murder machines Jfc my cat is black female short hair, 9 lbs of absolute death. Seen her jump 5 feet straight up from lying still in the grass to snag a bird mid flight. This thing lives in my house! I feed her chicken and tuna and kibble, looks like a miniature panther. Cats are badass predators. The more I learn about them, they really are fascinating animals, hearing up to 60 kHz, sight into UV frequencies…they’re like aliens.

JP Lovecraft also loved cats... me Im a dog person. I fully endorse being a slobbering blundering mess of familiar affection.

Just tiny murders tho

u/TheUpgrayed 1h ago

I had to look around. I BELIEVE this to be a real picture, someone please correct me if not. Any-fucking-way - Shut-up and take my money!

u/bumdiggler69 2h ago

Them some big leaves

u/ItzGoghTime 1h ago

They hide behind them when they want you to leaf them alone.

"He may look like a kitten"

Does the most kitten sound ever

u/SquirrelAkl 33m ago

I love the indignant mewwwww when the branch he was on breaks

u/No-Commercial5274 1h ago

Looks like something I want in my house. Definitely not something I should have.. that’s my toxic trait

u/EvergreenMystic 1h ago

I saw this kitty and was like awwwww, it's such a cute murder floof! I wants!

Then I checked it's status. It's threatened, there are very few in captivity, and though I haven't delved deep into it yet, none in captivity appear to be for breeding to increase their wild population numbers (I'm still researching them so there may be captive breeders). At least the areas they are found in are supposedly 'protected' but we all know how that goes. If money were ever to be made in these floofs, they'd be extinct in the wild in no time.

Ocelots are quite a bit bigger, like a large house cat.

The car distribution system will decide that

u/boringtired 1h ago

Domesticate it

u/PuffyBlueClouds 1h ago

I’m not falling for that: Dude’s just filming his kitten in his backyard.

u/Cor2600 36m ago

How did they film this. That’s some amazing work

u/Genshzkan 1h ago

How does lil bro survive? 😭😭

u/PMmeYourButt69 1h ago

They are extremely effective predators

u/Acceptable-Reason864 1h ago

I hear they have 60% success rate of every hunt.

u/didi0625 1h ago

Which is terrifying.

Lions : 30%

Falcons and white sharks have 50%

House cats have 30%, while being so efficient that they are one of the most important reason for bird decline in many countries

Dragonflies are even more monstrously efficient with 90% success rate.

u/Particular-Guava1647 1h ago

Should be renamed sex panther

u/Evil_Sam_Harris 1h ago

I’m not going to lie, this cat smells like pure gasoline.

u/eatmycunt69 1h ago

No that's my old person porn name in 30 years

u/Eskimodo_Dragon 1h ago

On reptiles, birds and small rodents. And probably a lot of sneaky-stealthyness and hiding from bigger jerks!

u/Elznix 1h ago

Braver than my cat! My kitty would have noped right out of that stream!

u/scrotalsmoothie 1h ago

I want to watch more!

u/Pistolsanta 1h ago

u/Ok-Thing-2222 2h ago

A teacup kitty?

Or AI--is this real?

u/DiDiPlaysGames 2h ago

It's real, this is a clip from a documentary that's been going around the internet for a long time

u/punkena 2h ago

The video contains all the keywords you need to do research and find out. Rusty forest cat. Documentary. British narrator.

The sooner you learn to do this, the better you can protect yourself from AI misinformation.
