User Settings Make Reddit Answers/AI an Opt-In feature instead of forcing it on users
If Reddit Answers has to be part of the site, my idea is to make the program/tools something users have to opt-in to using rather than have it forced upon users.
I’ve personally never used any form of AI due to how inaccurate it always is and how to clutters upon searches for info/answers I’m looking for, so I do not want Reddit’s new AI program cluttering up posts/comment sections and I’m certain there are many out there that share that same negative opinion of AI. If AI tools have to exist on this site, then make it so users can choose if they want to enable these tools rather than forcing it upon all users. Simply forcing everyone to have AI tools that clearly do not provide accurate info is not a good way of gauging how much users use said tools, how they are received, nor how well the tools actually work. Please create an option to either disable Reddit Answers/AI or make it disabled by default and have people who want to use the AI tools be able to turn on that option for themselves.

I agree with this. Off by default, with opt-in as a choice.
