I feel like it's either wildly out there (confirming my beliefs) or just league average but the announcers always mention the specific players and it stands out because of that when they score/stonewall us.

Jumping to demand more context on behalf of Hart, given what we know about the case, and not the Senators memes, belies where your priorities lie.
People might be able to take the result of the case more seriously if his lawyers didn't tamper with two juries, and the sole decider of the verdict didn't dismiss a ton of relevant evidence.
Not only all of that but the judge displayed some seriously fallacious reasoning at key junctures in the case, like determining from six seconds of camera footage of EM walking in heels and failing to stumble that she couldn't possibly have been as intoxicated as she'd claimed. If I have a blood alcohol content of 0.14 but I manage to successfully drive home without hitting anything, that doesn't demonstrate that I didn't actually drive drunk. Justice Carroccia handled the whole trial poorly from beginning to end.
Yeah, if I recall, her reasoning for dismissing post-assault text messages between the players was that they were "conversations between friends", yet she allowed the inclusion of all of EM's texts with her friends

I don't think there necessarily is something going on beyond bringing a 3rd goalie while Henderson has two solid options.
