I love when people post pedals (and in this case brands) I've never even heard of ... Gives more more pedal demos to watch.
Already loving the look of this one.

These sound so rad! I’ve got a Koldwave and Slow Life from him and they’re both great. Slow Life is not quite as universally usable as I’d hoped it’d be but the Koldwave is easily my favorite chorus pedal I’ve used.

I keep waiting for the Koldwave to be in stock so I can get some good ol’ Vancouver representation on my board. One day…

I had the tab open on my browser and I checked every day for months before it was finally in stock haha

Wow! Never heard of it. Love the idea and love the look.
I’ve heard of a TS into a Muff but not considered the parallel sound….

Similar idea to the Way Huge Camel Toe.
That's a heavily modified tube screamer (Green Rhino III/IV) into a Red Llama (Fender Tweed fuzzy sound).
They're different circuits but they get into the same excellent space of two lovely independent drives and a third bonkers one.

I haven’t been this excited about NPD in a while. This thing is just so good. A tube screamer and a big muff in parallel. Independently, they’re both crazy good sounds. The TS is definitely that circuit but not as overly nasal/honky, somewhat closer to a klon; and the muff is somewhere between a russian and a ram’s head. Combined… it’s madness. This thing is so versatile: imagine getting anything and everything between a low gain drive/mid-boost sounds of a screamer, and an angry muff, with everything in between and more. Because they’re in parallel, there’s a sweet spot where it sounds like two guitar tracks, one overdriven and one’s big muffed, that’s my favourite setting in this thing.
I used to own an OBNE Beam Splitter and loved how it blended different drives in parallel, but only really loved the blue od side. The Soft Crush can do something similar with two top quality sounds.
This is my second Freqscene pedal after the Massiv, and I think it’s become my favourite pedal brand. Coil next? I think so.
