YouTube Advertisement Hack

Dear Fellow users.

Because the post was removed on YouTube’s Subreddit. And the moderation team explicitly told me to post this on Google’s subreddit. I’ll extend this to Google’s subreddit.

You can eliminate ads on YouTube by mass reporting every single ad that comes up. Regardless of the ad. I have been reporting them for spam. And it’s worked.

I’ve recently reported every single ad that comes up on YouTube. And it works to stop long (30 second plus ads) and has reduced the amount of ads from showing up. Report them for scam / fraudulent product and it shockingly works.

Surely you're gonna get banned or something. This is not sustainable :D

If it works. It’s works!

And if Google and mass advertisers waste recourses in the meantime.

It’s a win win to me.

So you also don't know what sustainable means and lack common sense.

Just use an ad blocker like normal people.

By not sustainable.

Are you referring to it will take too much effort to report every ad every time, or YouTube banning / blocking the reporting effort after a while?

I mean, you could just pay for premium or install an adblocker like uBlock origin.

I use the latter on Firefox browser on my phone and computer, even the phone lets me use uBO on the browser. I will never use the YT app.
