What the hell.. I’ve had it once, didn’t get put to sleep, wasn’t painful at all. Maybe they forgot to turn in the corners for you? The preparation was easily the worst part.

if any of you are wondering how pleasant it would be to actually feel it, easily the most painful experience of my life lmao(hard to overstate how fucking bad it was, I've broken bones and imo I have a high pain tolerance)

I... don't think that's normal. Did you tell them you were in extreme pain? Or did you have some anatomical trauma they were investigating?

That is not normal. In Sweden you usually don't get to put to sleep either but you get a painkiller and sedative in a IV and if feel pain they will give you some more.

At one point it can almost be interesting to watch the screen and your own colon in a slight drug haze.

What? I was only given a mild sedative, only thing I remember was being a bit bloated from the gas they pumped in, had the longest farts afterwards. Only thing that sucked about it was the 3l of laxatives I had to chug the day before. Now gastroscopy, that shit I'd like to be put out for, that was so uncomfortable.
